Illinois 151 serves as a connector through the northwest portion of Shawnee National Forest. It also is the access road to the Jackson Creek Recreational Area.
History
SBI Route 151 originally ran from Steeleville to Murphysboro; this was absorbed into Illinois Route 43 in 1937, and eventually became part of Illinois 4 in 1964. In 1940, Illinois 151 was placed onto its current route.
SR 151 begins at Shasta Dam, where the Sacramento River is dammed to form Shasta Lake. From Shasta Dam, the road heads south as Shasta Dam Boulevard, crossing through heavily vegetated area. The road then meets CR A18 within the city of Shasta Lake. Heading eastward, the road enters the center of Shasta Lake before meeting its eastern terminus at Interstate 5.
Major intersections
Except where prefixed with a letter, postmiles were measured on the road as it was in 1964, based on the alignment that existed at the time, and do not necessarily reflect current mileage.R reflects a realignment in the route since then, M indicates a second realignment, L refers an overlap due to a correction or change, and T indicates postmiles classified as temporary (for a full list of prefixes, see the list of postmile definitions). Segments that remain unconstructed or have been relinquished to local control may be omitted. The entire route is in Shasta County.
Cascade, IA to Galena, IL via US-151 N. and US-20 E.

This is the CTA bus route 151 Sheridan to downtown of Chicago. The transportation in Chicago is excellent and I love it. I'm an international student study here in Chicago. I can say that taking the bus is very convenient and the bus system is vey good. Plus, most of bus stop in town areas I'll have the platform with screen monitor of the bus schedule that show the expected arrival time. The fate is $2.50 per trip. We can pay both cash or pass. For cash, I would recommend d to carry small change since the machine will not give back the change 😊

You know you're livin' a lie when you just can't win Pulling in first prize ain't gonna give you a break You know I'm kickin' back, I had a broken wing Me and my shadow are the next best thing I need someone You know it might take more than you give to me Are you gun-shy, are you listening? What we got here is dead reckoning And take me in for the night in the right time zone We'll do what you like, make a left turn home I put out the light, you're turnin' way too red No stop sign straight up ahead You need so much So much sympathy That's more than I can say You know it's not too late Are you gun-shy, are you listening? What we got here is dead reckoning And if it feels good, we'll do it again See your way clear, dead reckoning Tell me why, tell me why Are you listening? Are you listening? Are you listening? Are you listening? You mean so much So much to me That's more than I can say You know it's not too late Are you gun-shy, are you listening? What we got here is dead reckoning And if it feels good, we'll do it again See your way clear, dead reckoning, yeah What we got here is dead reckoning
