Meet Ronald Wayne, The Forgotten Third Co-Founder Of Apple
On April 1, 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and a third man you may have never heard of, Ronald Wayne founded the Apple Computer Company. The company's ownership was originally divided among the trio, with Wozniak and Jobs each owning 45% and Wayne owning a 10% stake. But after just 12 days as a founder of Apple, Wayne sold his shares to Wozniak for $800 and had his name removed from the company. Today, Apple is one of the most valuable companies in the world, worth over $690 billion dollars.

There was a third co-founder of Apple in addition to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
What happened to Apple's third co-founder, who was long forgotten?
According to the well-known legend, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak established Apple.
It's accurate, however Ronald Wayne, the third co-founder, is a frequently overlooked fact.
The oldest of the three, Wayne's responsibility was to mediate any potential conflicts between Jobs and Wozniak.
He created the initial Apple logo, produced the Apple-1 manual, and developed a partnership agreement while working for the company.
Wayne makes the decision to sell his 10% of the company for $800 and leave because he is worried that any financial issues the business may have will have an effect on his personal assets.

Apple is the first trillion-dollar publicly traded corporation in U.S. history. The company was valued at $1,001,679,220,000 when Wall Street closed Thursday.
