As thousands of Rohingya refugees continue to pour into Bangladesh, Clive Myrie reports on the world's fastest growing humanitarian crisis.
The plight of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people is said to be the world's fastest growing refugee crisis.
Risking death by sea or on foot, more than half a million have fled the destruction of their homes and persecution in the northern Rakhine province of Myanmar (Burma) for neighbouring Bangladesh since August 2017.
The United Nations described the military offensive in Rakhine, which provoked the exodus, as a "textbook example of ethnic cleansing".

The country has refused to allow access to UN investigators, but officials recently took a group of journalists to Rakhine on a tightly-controlled visit.

Hardline Buddhist monks meet in Myanmar
(27 May 2017) Myanmar's hard-line nationalist Buddhist group, known for it's anti-Muslim stance, went ahead with a planned meeting on Saturday despite a ban imposed by the country's top religious body on all activities under the group's name.
Hundreds of monks and followers filed into Ma Ba Tha's headquarters, also known as the Assoication for the Protection of Race and Religion, in the outskirts of Yangon.
The two-day meeting was originally intended as a celebration of its 4th anniversary but has now turned into a discussion on the group's future.
Last week, the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, the country's top clergy, ordered a ban on all Ma Ba Tha's activities and removal of all billboards and signs by Mid-July otherwise the group's leaders could face prosecution.

Ma Ba Tha and its high-profile leader Ashin Wirathu have been accused of instigating violence against minority Muslims, particularly Rohingya in Rakhine State, leading to killings and the destruction of property.
The ban order is the government's latest move to control the group's influence but members of the group remained defiant.
The group said they would spend these two days coming up with ways to continue to "protect our race and religion" despite the ban.
Tensions between Myanmar's overwhelmingly Buddhist population and the Muslim minority spread after violent conflict broke out between ethnic Rakhine Buddhists and Muslim Rohingya in 2012 in western Rakhine state, where the Rohingya are accused of entering the country illegally from Bangladesh.
Violence heated up late last year when a small armed Rohingya insurgency was launched, leading to massive retaliation by Myanmar's army, which was accused of carrying out severe human rights violations.
