Awful Archaeology Ep. 1: The Oldoway Man
In this episode of Awful Archaeology I discuss the skeleton of the Oldoway Man; a mysterious homo sapien unearthed in the Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania. This find baffled archaeologists like Hans Reck and Louis Leaky due to it being found in a middle Pleistocene bed. Since its deposition should have indicated the find was around a million years old, both archaeologists worked tirelessly to figure out what this mostly modern human was doing in such an ancient deposit.

AT&T does whatever they can to get people to use their service and buy their phones. Like most companies, they rely heavily on advertising. Over the years, they have come out with plenty of commercials with various actors and actresses. One actress who starred in AT&T commercials is Milana Vayntrub, aka Lily. Here's What You Never Knew About Lily From The Iconic AT&T Ads.
Milana Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, which is now known as Uzbekistan, the Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her Jewish parents came to the United States as refugees after fleeing due to religious persecution. She was very young when she came to the United States, and shortly after arriving, she started acting. She was just two-years-old when he landed an appearance for Barbie commercials. Milana had some small roles in shows like ER, Days of Our Lives, and Lizzie McGuire.
Milana attended Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out during her senior year. After getting her GED, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of San Diego. She never got rid of the acting, but that bit her as a child, and she started studying improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
Milana made a name for herself as one of the Live Prude Girls on the hit YouTube show. This led her to land small comedy roles and more substantial roles in This Is Us and Squirrel Girl in Marvel's New Warriors. Unfortunately, the project didn't work out, and there is no way of knowing if we will ever see the final product.
Milana has excellent comic ability, which caught the eye of AT&T's marketing execs. They called her in for a single AT&T commercial, and the ad was a huge hit. It gained so much attention that they kept calling Milana back to star in more commercials. Over time, she starred in 40 commercials. AT&T's Vice President of Marketing, Valerie Vargas, spoke with Ad Week magazine about Milana, and she said, "The first spot was so successful for us that we thought, let's do another one, and then another one, and then another one. It was so well received that we kept bringing her back." She soon became known as the ATT girl or Lily from at&t.
The ad execs and the public weren't the only ones who loved Milana's commercials. It also caught the attention of celebrities, including Amy Schumer. She liked the spots so much that she thought they were worth parodying. Some people loved Amy's parody, but Milana herself didn't. When speaking with Ad Weekly about the parody, she said, "The way that you're going to portray this character is that you're going to play her dumb? Well, that's just lazy." Milana made sure to point out that Lily wasn't eye candy. People loved the character because of her sass and her brains. She says that she is proud of the character she helped to create.
Milana came to the United States as a refugee, and she knows how difficult it can be. In 2016, when things began falling apart in Syria, and the devastation reached a boiling point, Milana traveled to Greece. She went there to meet with the refugee families who were fleeing due to the Syrian Civil War. The trip made her want to do something, so she co-founded a website and a social media movement called #CantDoNothing. She wanted to put a spotlight on the European migrant crisis. Along with entrepreneur, Eron Zehavi, the charity is focused on helping everyday people make real change. The purpose of the charity and the social media movement is to raise awareness to get people to pay attention, volunteer, and donate money to the cause. This is a cause that is close to Milana's heart, and she is very passionate about the cause.
We may not have seen Milana on television trying to sell AT&T products through her commercials, but this doesn't mean that we have seen the last of her. She has amazing talent and great comedic timing. With the right project, Milana can really go far. Her main focus today is on her career and helping other refugees. With a talent like hers, you can expect pretty great things in the future. Her role as Squirrel Girl may be on the back burner for now, but she is still working. In 2019, she appeared in Hot Chip's video for their hit song, Hungry Child. Only time will tell how long it will be before we see her again, but you can be sure it will be soon. With a talent like hers, it is only a matter of time before we see her on television or the big screen. We may even see her on a few AT&T commercials this holiday season. You never know..

Oppenheimer - In Theaters 7 21 23
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer is an IMAX®-shot epic thriller that thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it.
The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer. Oscar® winner Matt Damon portrays General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey, Jr. plays Lewis Strauss, a founding commissioner of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.
Academy Award® nominee Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock, Benny Safdie plays theoretical physicist Edward Teller, Michael Angarano plays Robert Serber and Josh Hartnett plays pioneering American nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence.
Oppenheimer also stars Oscar® winner Rami Malek and reunites Nolan with eight-time Oscar® nominated actor, writer and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh.
The cast includes Dane DeHaan (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets), Dylan Arnold (Halloween franchise), David Krumholtz (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Matthew Modine (The Dark Knight Rises).
The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan.
Oppenheimer is filmed in a combination of IMAX® 65mm and 65mm large-format film photography including, for the first time ever, sections in IMAX® black and white analogue photography.

Welcome to DAILY JOYTIME and today’s video is about tv bloopers, THEY FORGOT THEY WERE LIVE AND DID THIS 😂 🤣
When live tv goes according to script you get compelling informative content. When things go wrong you get content that ends up on this channel. Tv bloopers that just get better till the end.
▶️ Here are the Best Moments They Forgot They Were Live And Did This:
-----------------------------------
For those of you interested on HOW I MAKE MY VIDEOS, I start with research on each topic to find the best way to tell the story in most funny, interesting and entertaining way. Then I am sorting and editing (In Final Cut Pro X studio) clips in order to make the best watch experience for you guys :) I use different stock footages (both free and paid), clips of videos that I can find related to the video and search images to visualize the narrative and story that I’m trying to tell - I do Cuts, Slow-Motions, Play-backs, Reverse plays and add elements, images, memes and much more.
Then comes the WRITING.. I am trying to use DRY english humor and COMMENTATE/REPORT/REACT about all the moments happened in the video to make it more entertaining and super-pleasurable to watch!
And of course you all know my funny intros and especially outros you all love for each video - each one is different with some kind of funny voice impersonation :))
My good friend with perfect english voice helps me to Voice Over all the videos, because my english and voice are not even close to his - Thank you McRiddle!
Then I research and add background music that most fit to the topic and i do play a lot with volume editing, cuts, sounds etc. to make it sound perfect.
After all this is sorted together I start FINAL editing and revising of the video - I do more Cuts, Slow-Motions, Play-backs, Reverse plays and add more elements to get the best final output.
The commentary/editing style is unique and adds value by putting it into my own style and commentating all the clips stating my opinions/making it funnier in addition to a myriad of edits to the videos which transforms the work making it different and unique each video.
I literally spend 8-14 hours everyday by producing my videos and i love it! ))
