The Roskilde Festival is an annual music festival held south of Roskilde in Denmark. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in Northern Europe. It was created in 1971 by two high school students, Mogens Sandfær and Jesper Switzer Møller, and promoter Carl Fischer. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival.
The Roskilde Festival is Denmark's first music-oriented festival created for hippies, and today covers more of the mainstream youth from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. The Roskilde Festival 2013 had more than 180 performing bands and was attended by some 130,000 festivalgoers, along with more than 21,000 volunteers, 5,000 media people and 3,000 artists – totaling almost 160,000 people who participated in the festival.
Roskilde Festival 2007 was held 5 –8 July 2007 with warm-up and camping from 1 July. The stages Metropol and Ballroom were replaced by two new stages, Astoria and Cosmopol. On 4 June 2007 the festival's website announced that the festival was sold out.
2007 was the wettest year in the history of the festival with almost 100mm (3.9in) of rain falling, which meant that large lakes formed in the camping and festival areas. This is also more than double the amount of rain that fell during the festival in 1997, the year which was previously the worst in terms of rain. Furthermore, half the entire amount of rain came on Thursday the 5th of July, a day which saw rain without stop from early morning till approximately midnight. The extreme weather meant that somewhere around 5000 people left the festival early while many more chose to leave the festival in the night and return to catch shows the following morning for the rest of the festival.
"Karma Police" is a song by English alternative rock band Radiohead from their 1997 third studio album OK Computer. The song's title and lyrics derive from an in-joke among the band, referring to the Hindu theory of cause and effect, known as karma.
"Karma Police" was released as the second single from OK Computer, and became a commercial success, charting at number eight on the UK Singles Chart and number fourteen on the US Hot Modern Rock Tracks. Critical reception to the single was also favourable.
"Karma Police", like several other songs that would make up OK Computer, was debuted live in 1996, when the band briefly supported Alanis Morissette on tour. A live version of "Karma Police", performed with a Rhodes piano on the Late Show with David Letterman, is captured in the Radiohead documentary Meeting People Is Easy.
Karma Police is a British Internet metadata collection program. It was formed to create profiles on every visible Internet user's browsing habits. Information about the program was revealed by whistleblowerEdward Snowden. The report provided by Snowden states that the program was conceived in 2007 and has been in operation since 2009 or earlier.
Britain's Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) who launched the program referred to it as the "world’s biggest" data-mining operation on the Internet. Karma Police extracts information from intercontinental data cables that terminate in Cornwall, England. These cables contain 25% of all global Internet traffic. The metadata contains a record of usernames, passwords, and websites an individual visits.
The program apparently operates with no government oversight. By 2009, according to GCHQ's own documents, Karma Police had received and stored more than 1.1 trillion web browsing sessions. In 2010, the program was allegedly collecting over 30 billion records each day. The volume by 2012, according to other GCHQ documents, had reached 50 billion each day.

Gnarls Barkley ao vivo no Roskilde Festival 2008, Dinamarca - [SHOW ÉPICO COMPLETO]

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (Live Roskilde 2008)
Lyrics :
I remember when, I remember
I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you're out there without care
Yeah, I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Possibly
And I hope that you are
Having the time of your life
But think twice
That's my only advice
Come on now, who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha ha ha, bless your soul
You really think you're in control?
Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me
My heroes had the heart
To lose their lives out on a limb
And all I remem...

Karma police, arrest this man He talks in maths He buzzes like a fridge He's like a detuned radio Karma police, arrest this girl Her Hitler hairdo is Making me feel ill And we have crashed her party This is what you get This is what you get This is what you get when you mess with us Karma Police I've given all I can It's not enough I've given all I can But we're still on the payroll This is what you get This is what you get This is what you get when you mess with us And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself For for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself For for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself Phew, for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself In the early version, the first verse went: Karma police arrest this girl She stares at me As if she owns the world and We have crashed her party
