Lyrics:
Looks like I'm late for the party
Everyone knows the attire but me
Glass walls separate us
Catch a glimpse into different books
On different shelves
Make room, please
It feels like I'm floating
Far from myself
Failed to notice the scenery change
Surrounding me is age
Like tomorrow happened yesterday
Oh the world’s blue
Make room, please
It feels like I'm floating
Far from myself
Nostalgic for memories
I haven't had
I can't put my finger on it
There are all these things
That I'll never know
All these things that I'll never know
Camouflage restricted
Or cast out
Liberated
I wanna know what they know
I wanna know what they know
Or do I
Make room, please
It feels like I'm floating
Far from myself
Nostalgic for memories
I haven't had
I can't put my finger on it
There are all these things
That I'll never know
All these things that I'll never know

Learn more about the Alti Wine Exchange: https://www.altiwineexchange.com/
We’re continuing our tour of the best wines of Italy, and of the world really, as we’ve been through all Italian whites, the bubblies, Tuscany, Central Italy, etc. and today I want to tell you more about what I call the Piedmont Red Trilogy, three types of red grapes grown in the prestigious Piedmont or Piemonte how the Italians would say, one of the very best areas for winemaking in Italy famous in particular for its illustrious Barolo and Barbaresco appellations for the reds, but also for its Asti Muscats for the whites, BUT, Piedmont is also reputable among wine connoisseurs, for making these 3 very interesting and distinct styles of red wines, out of three different grapes, that make very complementary styles with each other.
There’s the rounder, more opulent style of red called Dolcetto, there’s the more acidic, freshly fruity, lighter and very vibrant, sometimes a little grippy Barbera, and the all mighty and famous Nebbiolo that makes some of the most desirable wines in the world which has it all, complexity, body, acidity and so on. So let’s have a look at why you should really investigate those, and enjoy these three complementary styles from this same region in Northern Italy. This is, Piedmont’s delicious red wine trilogy. Let’s go…
00:00 - Intro to Piedmont's Red Wine Grapes
02:25 - The Ugly Duckling? Dolcetto
05:27 - The Bursting personality of Barbera
08:18 - King Nebbiolo

Discover the 50 Most Beautiful Villages in Italy: a journey into the heart of Italian tradition and beauty
Join us on an exciting journey to discover Italy's most charming and lesser-known villages. From Scanno in Abruzzo to Cetara in Campania, from Portofino in Liguria to Gerace in Calabria, and the wonderful villages of Tuscany such as Pienza and San Gimignano, we will explore the cultural richness, historical heritage, and extraordinary geography of these magical places. Each village, with its unique architectural features and centuries-old stories, represents a unique piece in the vast mosaic of Italian culture.
These small centers offer an authentic view of Italy, far from conventional tourist circuits. Through the alleys of medieval villages like Castelmezzano, Pietrapertosa, and Urbino, we will discover the art, gastronomy, and local traditions that have made Italy famous worldwide. From north to south, these villages tell the story of an Italy deeply rooted in its traditions yet always open to sharing its beauty with the world.
How to Read the Charts in the Video:
At the end of each village description, you will find charts showing ratings from 1 to 5 stars, where 5 is excellent and 1 is poor. Here's what each metric represents:
- Review Score - Traveler Impressor: The overall score given by tourists on online sites.
- Numbers of Attractions - What to See: The number of attractions and places to visit in the village.
- Surroundings: What and how much there is to see around the village.
- Transport Quality: The quality of public transportation or the ease of reaching the village.
- Village Size: The size of the village based on the number of residents.

Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide © 2012 | In this hour-long travel special, we explore the "Eternal City" of Rome, a grand and ancient metropolis rich with exquisite art, vibrant culture, and centuries of history. We trace the rise and fall of classical Rome, meander through the heart of Bernini's Baroque Rome, and make a pilgrimage to the Vatican. Then, we follow Rick as he uncovers the charms of hidden neighborhoods filled with character and energy, enjoys a Roman feast, and mixes and mingles with the locals during an early-evening stroll through the city's romantic nightspots. #ricksteves #ricksteveseurope #rome

How did Rome Conquer Italy? - History of the Roman Empire - Part 2
First a city, then a kingdom, and next a republic. Rome was now ready to expand…
After slowly taking down each of its pesky neighbors, including the Sabines, one of the first major conflicts the young republic found itself in was the Battle of Lake Regillus.
At the start of the 5th century BC, the Latin League and the Romans met at Lake Regillus as Rome’s new dictator at the time, Aulus Postumius Albus hoped to defeat the remaining threat to Rome’s growing authority.

Rome, Italy, is one of Europe’s top tourist destinations, filled with incredible ancient ruins, beautiful monuments and delicious food. Most people don’t experience true Roman life in Rome, sticking to the well trodden tourist path, when in Rome however, it truly pays to do as the Romans do, so I hope this video is helpful for those who want to appreciate the true essence of Rome! I show you how to breakfast like a Roman by starting the day off with cappucino and cornetto at a local Roman cafe, I also try some of the famous Roman pastas like cacio e pepe and pasta alla gricia at small local Roman trattorias. When in Rome a visit to the market is a must, I buy some fresh produce and take it to the beautiful villa doria pamphili for a roman picnic. I also show you how best to enjoy Rome's majestic ancient monuments like the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, and pantheon, at night when the streets are empty!

Rome is the capital city and a special comune of Italy (named Comune di Roma Capitale), as well as the capital of the Lazio region. The city has been a major human settlement for almost three millennia. With 2,860,009 residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi), it is also the country's most populated comune. It is the third most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. It is the centre of the Metropolitan City of Rome, which has a population of 4,355,725 residents, thus making it the most populous metropolitan city in Italy. Its metropolitan area is the third-most populous within Italy. Rome is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, within Lazio (Latium), along the shores of the Tiber. Vatican City (the smallest country in the world) is an independent country inside the city boundaries of Rome, the only existing example of a country within a city; for this reason Rome has sometimes been defined as the capital of two states.
