Wave-Particle Duality and the Photoelectric Effect
Look, up in the sky, it's a particle! It's a wave! Actually it's both. It's light! How do we know about this stuff? Well, because of Einstein for one. He did more than E = mc^2, you know. But don't stare at the sun to see for yourself, we've got science now.

Photoelectric Effect, Work Function, Threshold Frequency, Wavelength, Speed & Kinetic Energy, Electr
This chemistry video tutorial explains how the photoelectric effect works. It also explains how to use the work function of metals to calculate the threshold frequency and maximum wavelength of light necessary to eject an electron off the surface of an active metal. In addition, it explains how to calculate the speed of an electron as well as the kinetic energy of an electron in electron volts. You need to know how to convert electron volts to joules and vice versa. This video provides all of the formulas and equations needed including plenty of practice problems and examples.

Photoelectric Effect Explained in Simple Words for Beginners
Photoelectric effect occurs when electromagnetic radiation above the threshold frequency of the given metallic surface, strikes the surface and releases electrons from it. This happens because light is made of massless particles called photons, which possess a certain amount of energy. When these photons strike the surface, they knock electrons off it; we call these photoelectron.
Just because a light ray has a high intensity doesn't mean that it will cause the photoelectric effect. It can only happen if the frequency of the light rays is equal to or greater than a given value—known as the threshold frequency—of the metal. In this video, we have explained the photoelectric effect, threshold frequency and the work function in simple words

Albert Einstein and The Photoelectric Effect | AMS OpenMind
💡 Einstein and the Mystery of Light 💡 Particle or wave? 🌊⚛️
For centuries, scientists debated the true nature of light. It was Einstein who, with his theory of the photoelectric effect, proposed that light is both: particles called photons that behave like waves. 🌞✨ This discovery not only earned him the Nobel Prize but also laid the foundations of quantum physics. 🏆 Learn more in this video
