Pan-Arabism is an ideology espousing the unification of the countries of North Africa and West Asia from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Sea, referred to as the Arab world. It is closely connected to Arab nationalism, which asserts that the Arabs constitute a single nation. Its popularity was at its height during the 1950s and 1960s. Advocates of pan-Arabism have often espoused socialist principles and strongly opposed Western political involvement in the Arab world. It also sought to empower Arab states from outside forces by forming alliances and, to a lesser extent, economic co-operation.

Why isn't Arabia a Country? Arabs of Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia and More
Today, we're going to discuss the Arab world, Arab people, and just why the Arab countries of Asia and Africa seem so divided, along with a small glimpse into the history of pan-Arab nationalism, and what the world would look like if Arabia was a single country.
I realize a lot of people might be averse to using the term "Arab" to describe someone's ethnicity, thinking that it is equivalent to a slur of some kind (in the same way that the term "Jew" can be used in a derogatory manner) but it is an accurate and inoffensive term to the vast majority of people as long as it is used in a professional way.
Be sure to let me know your thoughts on Arabs, Arab countries, and Nasser's dream of a united Arab Federation from coast to coast. Do you think it's realistic? Unrealistic? A positive move?...

A positive move? Negative? Let me know. Thanks for watching!

A positive move? Negative? Let me know. Thanks for watching!
Btw, I had to reupload because of a slight issue with the captions.
