Pairing, sometimes known as bonding, is a process used in computer networking that helps set up an initial linkage between computing devices to allow communications between them. The most common example is used in Bluetooth, where the pairing process is used to link devices like a bluetooth headset with a mobile phone.

What is Pairing in ABA?
How can we be the most effective teachers for our kids? In this video BCBA Macarena Fernandez talks about how therapists establish themselves as reinforcers for the children they serve.
Pairing helps build rapport with a child and allows the therapist to establish instructional control. Pairing is the process by which kids can associate a therapist with fun events rather than work or demands.
Pairing is used with instructional control, which means that although the therapist is the "most fun person" they are also the most consistent in all areas of learning.
These two principles are some of the most important teaching procedure in an ABA program. Interested in learning more about ABA? Check out our website: https://www.verbalbeginnings.com/applied-behavior-analysis/aba-therapy-process/...
