One Spy Too Many is the 1966 feature-length film version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'s two-part season two premiere episode "Alexander the Greater Affair". It, as does the television series, stars Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. It is the third such feature film that used as its basis a reedited version of one or more episodes from the series. In this instance, the film took the two-part episode and added in a subplot featuring Yvonne Craig as an U.N.C.L.E. operative carrying on a flirtatious relationship with Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn); Craig does not appear in the television episodes.
It also added in and substituted scenes that, while not out of place in a 1960s U.S. spy film, were more explicitly sexual than generally shown on U.S. television at the time. Whereas the earlier U.N.C.L.E. films added material to a single episode to create a feature-length movie, "One Spy Too Many" removed certain elements of the two-part episode (e.g., scenes with Alexander’s parents) to allow for the added subplot with Craig and other enhanced scenes within the film’s overall running time. This was the last film culled from the series to be theatrically released in the U.S. (in late 1966).

A nice scene featuring the beautifull Yvonne Craig, probably best known for her portrayal of " Batgirl " in the 60's TV show " Batman " ( with Adam West and Burt Ward ). These special scenes of Yvonne were filmed for the cinema movie " One Spy Too Many " , where she played Napoleon's love interest ( her character name was " Maud " ); these scenes weren't included in the TV version " The Alexander Greater Affair " Parts 1 and 2 that opened the 2nd Season. Note how she is wearing the new standardised " uniform " for U.N.C.L.E. " secretaries " consisting of a light / pale blue shirt and a meduim - dark blue skirt. One night only, the original underscore from UNCLE played from the original charts by a six-piece combo, "The Summit Six Sextet," that totally nailed the rhythms and arrangements in an hour-long performance in the hotel nightclub. A labor of love and a gift to us all from Jon Burlingame, much to the delight of Gerald Fried, whom we were privileged to have in the audience. Our appreciation to (L to R) Steve Rosenblum on sax, Yu Ooka on guitar, Dean Koba on drums, Jon B., Robert Short, Nedra Wheeler on bass, Mr. Fried, Dave Iwataki on keyboards, and combo leader David Lamont on flute. Should I leave, should I stay? Should I try to walk away? From you tonight Without a fight Like a wound that will not heal I cannot change the way I feel For you tonight Oh, how I?ve tried Too many tear drops, too many heartaches Too many pieces on the floor Too much is broken, too much was taken Too many things I can't ignore I just can?t love you anymore Should we give it one more try Even though it?s just a lie We tell ourselves Just one more time I forgot the reasons why You once were always on my mind I think it?s time To say goodbye Too many tear drops, too many heartaches Too many pieces on the floor Too much is broken, too much was taken Too many things I can't ignore I just can?t love you anymore Too many tear drops, too many heartaches Too many pieces on the floor Too much is broken, too much was taken Too many things I can't ignore I just can?t love you anymore
