One Canada Square is a skyscraper in Canary Wharf, London. It was the tallest building in the United Kingdom from 1990 to 2010, standing at 770 feet (235m)above ground level and containing 50 storeys. In late 2010, it was surpassed by The Shard (completed in July 2012) which stands at 309.6 metres (1,016ft).
One Canada Square was designed by principal architect Cesar Pelli, who based the design and shape mainly on the World Financial Center and the shape of Elizabeth Tower although the developers' (Olympia and York) previous flagship projects, First Canadian Place in Toronto and the Aon Center (formerly the Amoco building) in Chicago are earlier precedents of the building shape and plan form. Unlike the precedents named, the building is clad with durable stainless steel rather than natural stone (which failed prematurely, requiring expensive repairs in several). One of the predominant features of the building is the pyramid roof which contains a flashing aircraft warning light, a rare feature for buildings in the United Kingdom. The distinctive pyramidpinnacle is at 800 feet (240m)above sea level.
Diefenbaker called a snap election and capitalized on three factors:
Nationally, the Liberals had just chosen a new leader, Lester Pearson, who had given an ill-advised maiden speech in Commons that asked Diefenbaker to resign and recommend the Governor General allow the Liberals to form a government without an election due to the recent economic downturn. Diefenbaker seized on the remark by describing a series of classified Liberal Cabinet documents stating that the economy would face a downturn in that year. This contrasted heavily with the Liberals' 1957 campaign promises.
Citigroup Centre is a building complex in London. It houses Citigroup's EMEA headquarters and is located in Canary Wharf in the city's Docklands. The centre provides 170,000 square metres (1,800,000sqft) of floor space across two merged buildings - 33 Canada Square (known as "CGC1") and 25 Canada Square (known as "CGC2"), and houses the bulk of Citi's UK employee base. Together, both buildings form the Citigroup Centre complex.
25 Canada Square, or Citigroup Centre 2, stands at 200 metres (656ft) and, alongside HSBC Tower (with which it was built in tandem), is the joint 4th-tallest building in the United Kingdom (behind The Shard, One Canada Square and Heron Tower). Designed by César Pelli & Associates, construction of the 45-storey tower - undertaken by Canary Wharf Contractors - began in 1998 and was completed in 2001, with Citigroup leasing the building from the outset. The building was bought by RBS in 2004 along with 5 Canada Square (leased to Bank of America) for $1.12 billion. Subsequently, on 2 July 2007, CGC2 was individually sold to a joint venture between Quinlan Private and PropInvest for £1 billion (US$2 billion). Citigroup pay £46.5 million a year in rent for the tower, generating a yield of 4.6% to the owners. The east facing side of 25 Canada Square up to level 40 is configured for use by tenants.
Canada (i/ˈkænədə/; French: [ka.na.da]) is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98million square kilometres (3.85million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's border with the United States is the world's longest land border. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains; about four-fifths of the country's population of 35 million people live near the southern border. The majority of Canada has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer.
The land now called Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the Atlantic coast, with the first establishment of a region called "Canada" occurring in 1537. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost territories within British North America until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly geographically comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867, the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotiajoined to form the autonomous federal Dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the self-governing Dominion to the present ten provinces and three territories forming modern Canada. In 1931, Canada achieved near total independence from the United Kingdom with the Statute of Westminster 1931, and full sovereignty was attained when the Canada Act 1982 removed the last remaining ties of legal dependence on the British parliament.

This bishop then becomes Archbishop of his or her diocese and Metropolitan of the Province. The current Metropolitan of the Province of Canada is the Most Rev. Percy D. The Social Credit Party - Canadian Histoire
For the better half of the 20th century a British movement ran wild in Canada, and only in Canada. The Social Credit philosophy bred movements across the country in almost all provinces. The movement started off small in Alberta but soon every single province had one. Two provinces formed Social Credit governments for over 25 years and federally they almost always had representation. However due to in-fighting the party would eventually fall apart.

This video gives a brief overview of the 21st federal Australian election.
1954 is definitely one of the most interesting election as well as one of the most controversial. In what looked to be a clear Labor win, a major diplomatic crisis would unfold involving defections and espionage and the implications of this would drastically affect the results of this election.
All Australian Elections is a informative series that is meant to give an entertaining overview of the history of Australian politics by looking into each federal election from 1901 to today. Mistakes are likely present in these videos and I DO NOT recommend the use of these videos for any non-fictional works and recommend people look to the original sources.
I do not claim ownership of the images of videos used in this series and credit goes to there original sources.

Last night I fell asleep with my clothes on. In the middle of summer. I woke up shaking from the cold. Beneath these empty covers. I started sleeping on my back. Because you used to... and I miss you. I found your note when I came to. It was a heartfelt thank you that broke my heart in two. So pack up and leave this place behind. Your eyes are so much brighter now. That I'm too scared to look at you. In a room so full of people.
