Hellé (Helle) is an opera by the French composer Étienne-Joseph Floquet, first performed at the Académie Royale de Musique (the Paris Opéra) on 5 January 1779. It takes the form of a tragédie lyrique in three acts. The libretto, by Pierre Lemonnier, is based on the Greek myth of Helle. At this time, there was little demand for operas by native French composers (Parisian audiences preferred works by the German Christoph Willibald Gluck or the Italian Niccolò Piccinni) and Floquet struggled to have Hellé staged. When it eventually appeared in 1779, it was booed, despite Floquet's attempt to imitate the style of Piccinni, and ran for only three performances.
Roles
Synopsis
Helle is a princess of Colchis. Her father Athamas has died and left her to the care of his sister Ino, Queen of Thebes. The god Neptune is in love with Helle and has been wooing her disguised as a mortal called Arsame. However, Ino is also in love with Arsame and resorts to a magician, Elphingor, to stop the wedding of Helle and Arsame. Elphingor conjures a vision which persuades Helle that her beloved has been unfaithful to her and she flees from the court. Elphingor also helps Ino by producing a storm which wrecks the ship in which Helle is travelling. Neptune is angry that a storm has been raised without his permission. He seeks the culprit, finds it is Ino and when he reveals his true identity to her, she kills herself in despair. Neptune brings Helle to his underwater palace and makes her ruler of the sea in which her ship sank, giving it the region the name Hellespont after her.
"Hell" is the first episode of the second series of the Channel 4sitcomFather Ted, and the seventh episode overall.
In this episode, Graham Norton makes his first of three appearances as Father Noel Furlong.
Plot
The episode begins as Ted struggles to remember why the day, 19 July, feels important to him. He and Dougal think for several minutes, before Jack emerges in swim wear and flip-flops. They realize it is time for their annual holiday. They decide to go on to Kilkelly Caravan Park, staying in the caravan of a friend. When Dougal protests, Ted reminds him that the caravan they're using this year is different from the one they used last year. Approaching the park, they see a large, luxurious caravan which they mistake as theirs. In fact, it belongs to a young couple who are showering as the priests enter. The priests are reported and are soon in trouble with the gardaí. Dougal wonders which caravan is theirs, with Ted realizing it is the small, squalid model at the other end. There is barely enough room for the three priests.
Akalo (also known as Archa Nine) is the 9th planet in the Arca System. It is an organic forest planet that is populated by the Akalouthians (a technological primitive people).
Andellor
Andellor is a library planet for a highly evolved society.
Antilla
Antilla is an ancient ringed planet which was the site of an early Autobot colonization effort. This colony was wiped out by the deadly plague known as Cosmic Rust as seen in The Transformers episode "Cosmic Rust."
Antilla is also home to adorable creatures known as Antillan Bumble-Puppies.
Aquatron
Aquatron was a planet introduced in the novel Transformers: Retribution notable for being almost entirely covered in water. It was part of the Quintesson Empire and its inhabitants were enslaved as part of the illusion of the Quintesson "Co-Prosperity Sphere." Aquatron was a Cybertronian colony, and its native inhabitants-the Aquatronians and the Sharkticons-are of Cybertronian descent. The Autobots and Decepticons arrive here and quickly learn that the planet is under Quintesson control, after one of the planet's artificial rings-used to gather and fire energy-disables both their ships. A massive battle then ensues between the Cybertronians and the Sharkticons, with the Sharkticons later abandoning the Quintessons in temporary favor of Megatron. However, the awakening of a massive Quintesson jellyfish known as the Hydratron-which while dormant had served as a continent/city for the inhabitants of the planet-proved devastating, and the Autobots and the Decepticons eventually left the planet behind. One benefit of their visit was that Aquatron was freed from Quintesson rule and fell to the jurisdiction of a massive race of underwater Transformers, including one known as Leviacon. The planet was also inhabited by the Pirahnacons, a deadly race that fed upon Transformers.
Earth, initially credited as The Earth, was a British psychedelic music band active from 1968-1969. The band is mainly significant for having caused the band Earth formed by Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi to change the name of their hard-edged blues band Earth to Black Sabbath in order to avoid confusion.
The line-up included The Misunderstood's Glenn Campbell on steel guitar and Robin Parnell on bass guitar. The band released two singles and recorded radio sessions for the BBC. After the second single Campbell disbanded Earth and formed Juicy Lucy.
Discography
The band's songs were written by David Bolitho:
The Earth "Everybody Sing The Song", B-side "Stranger Of Fortune" Decca April 1969
Earth "Resurrection City", B-side "Comical Man" CBS December 1969
Earth (Chinese:土; pinyin:tǔ), is the changing point of the matter. Earth is the third element in the Wu Xing cycle.
Earth is a balance of both yin and yang, the feminine and masculine together. Its motion is inward and centering, and its energy is stabilizing and conserving. It is associated with the color yellow and the planet Saturn, and it lies at the center of the compass in the Chinese cosmos. It is associated with the turn of each of the four seasons and with damp. It governs the Spleen, Stomach, mouth and muscles. Its negative emotion is anxiety and its positive emotion is empathy. Its Primal Spirit is represented by the Yellow Dragon. Colour Yellow, Golden (Sun).
Attributes
The Chinese think Earth is associated with the qualities of patience, thoughtfulness, practicality, hard work, and stability. The earth element is also nurturing and seeks to draw all things together with itself, in order to bring harmony, rootedness and stability. Other attributes of the earth element include ambition, stubbornness, responsibility and long-term planning.

Helle - Nordlys | When Norway makes the best Bushcraft Knife
In this video, we dive into the Helle Nordlys, or Helle NorthLight if you like. A knife that brings Norwegian craftsmanship to new heights. Known for their long tradition of high-quality knives, Helle has created a smaller bushcraft knife that excels as an all-around tool. As the little brother to the renowned Helle Nord, the Nordlys upholds the brand’s legacy of quality and innovation.
I'm hugely impressed by this knife, and I’m proud that it’s made right here in Norway. The Nordlys carries with it the history, tradition, and heritage of some of the best knives in the world. Here’s what makes it stand out:

I took the Helle Viking and Sigmund to Sweden and did some carving.
I hope it helps if you think of buying either or both of them.
There is a small mistake in the specs. The Viking is the bushcraft and the Sigmund the Allround. Like I said in the video.

Made in Norway with the wild mountains, fjords and open seas combined with generations of outdoorsmen. Each knife is designed with a specific task in mind. The purpose of a specific knife may be that it should replace a couple of other tools and be a versatile and multifunctional tool. Or its mission can be to be the best fishing knife around.

Helle, a family company of tradition and craft is a long way from the fast lanes of the big cities. Making high quality knives has been the source of the livelihood and lifestyle among the Helle family and its crafts people for more than three generations. The generations old tradition has been passed on through the hands of the people in the small town in Norway. This lineage of edge and grain is as a torch we continue to pass on to the future generations of crafts people.
