"No Good Deed" is the second episode of the second season of the American comedy-drama television series Parenthood, and the fifteenth overall episode of the series. It originally aired on NBC in the United States on September 21, 2010. In the episode, Sarah and Adam have problems working together, Julia has trouble with social complexities of her six-year-old daughter's relationships, and Crosby and Jasmine fight over where Jabbar should stay with him while Jasmine is abroad.
The episode was written by Tyler Bensinger and directed by Lawrence Trilling.
Plot
Adam (Peter Krause) is concerned that Sarah (Lauren Graham), who has just started an internship at Adam's office, will not respect his authority at work and could cause problems with his boss Gordon (William Baldwin). Adam and Sarah try carpooling to work together, but they only end up annoying each other. Gordon, however, quickly develops a liking to Sarah, and the two bond during lunch in the break room. Adam grows concerned about this and tells Sarah to stop spending so much time with Gordon, prompting her to quit in anger. Adam later apologies, but reiterates that there must be boundaries between home and work. Sarah accepts the apology, and Adam convinces her to return to work.
The screenplay by Christopher Cannan and Steve Barancik is based on the short story "The House on Turk Street" by mystery author Dashiell Hammett. The original music score is by Jeff Beal.
The film was marketed with the tagline "He was more than a cop. She was more than a thief." It was entered into the 24th Moscow International Film Festival.
Plot
Jack Friar (Samuel L. Jackson) is shown practicing Johannes Brahms'Trio #1 in B Major, Op.8 and injecting himself with insulin. His neighbor arrives and begs him to retrieve her daughter, who has been staying with her disreputable boyfriend on Turk Street. Friar protests that he is just a grand theft auto cop, and she needs to report the case to missing persons.
Friar shows the picture of the boyfriend to several people with no luck. As it begins to rain, he notices an elderly woman, Mrs. Quarre (Grace Zabriskie), who slips on her porch steps as she's carrying groceries. He runs to help her, and once inside, he meets her husband Thomas (Joss Ackland), and they make Friar a cup of tea. As they are sitting in the living room, Friar explains who he is looking for and reaches for the picture in order to show it to the Quarres. However, it blew away as he helped Mrs. Quarre with the groceries, and as he fumbles for it, Hoop (Doug Hutchison) emerges and points a gun to his head.
In Christian theology, good works, or simply works, are person's (exterior) actions or deeds, in contrast to inner qualities such as grace or faith.

Proverbs 21:3 says that "To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice."
New Testament
The New Testament exhibits a tension between two aspects of grace: the idea that grace is from God is sufficient to cover any sin as well as offer redemption (except the Unforgivable sin) and the idea that grace does not free humans from their responsibility to behave morally.
John the Baptist, who preached a baptism of repentance, connected repentance with bearing fruit saying, "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance" (Matthew 3:8). Jesus himself encourages people to live a life without sin after receiving grace and forgiveness from God as the incident with the adulterous woman shows (John 8:11). He mentions good works explicitly as a good testimony to other people (Matthew 5:16). In 1 Peter the same encouragement for Christians is expressed that they should keep their conduct among the Gentiles honourable so that they may see the believers' good deeds (1Peter 2:12).
No Good is American recording artist Ivy Levan's debut album. The album was released on August 7, 2015 and featured the two official singles, "Biscuit" and "Killing You" featuring Sting.
The lead single for No Good was released on January 13, 2015. The track was titled "Biscuit" and its music video was released the same day.
The official second single from No Good was released on June 23, 2015 and was called "Killing You". The track features Sting.

The album's first promotional single was released on December 2, 2014 and was titled "The Dame Says". The lyric video for the single was released earlier, on November 24.
The second promo single was released only on YouTube to the public on June 2, 2015 and it was entitled "27 Club". The track is a collaboration between Levan and Diplo."27 Club was later, on July 10, 2015, released for digital download.The cover-art for the second release pictured just Levan instead of both Levan and Diplo like it did in the audio version released on YouTube.
No Good (previously known as No Good but So Good) was an American hip hop group from Miami, Florida. The group was formed by Derrick "Mr. Fatal" Hill, Tracy "T-Nasty" Lattimer and John "Slo" Strachtan. Strachtan later departed the group, and No Good continued as a duo.
History
Derrick Hill, Tracy Lattimer and John Strachtan started working in 1992 as dancers and hype men for rapper Luther "Luke" Campbell. They later formed No Good But So Good in 1992 as a dance troupe, eventually making a shift into rap music. They gained much hype in their hometown of Miami, performing in local clubs.Up to No Good, their debut studio album, was produced by Campbell and released in December 1996. Two singles—"Get Your Shake On" and "Six O'Clock in the Morning"—were released from the album. In 1998, No Good But So Good were featured on Luke's single "Raise the Roof", which peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Strachtan later departed the group, and the group's remaining two members shortened their name to No Good. The duo found success with the 1998 single "Lizard, Lizard", a collaboration with rapper Jiggie, which became a top ten hit on the BillboardHot Rap Songs chart. No Good and Jiggie collaborated for the studio album Lizard Lizard, which was released in February 1999. The duo later signed to Artistdirect Records and released their third studio album Gameday, PBB in May 2002. The album spawned the hit single "Ballin' Boy", which gave the group their second number-one hit on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
