NJ Hiker/West Milford/Black Bear Encounter WAS IT REALLY AN ATTACK?
RE: Hiker, Darsh Patel, West Milford, Apshawa Preserve, Sept. 21, 2014. This is one taped segment of one of the hiker's testimony of Darsh Patel, moments before the incident. On the video, you will hear that he thought Darsh Patel was injured; several seconds into that testimony, the phone rang in the room, the investigator answered it, said wrong number, hung up, and instead of hearing more of the important testimony on what might have happened to Darsh Patel, the man starting asking how old Darsh Patel was. Either this interviewer is not qualified for his position, or he is hiding something. I think the interview was being observed from an outside office and when this subject came up, they rang the phone to stop the conversation.

Baby black bear asleep in the cave hibernating his days away but don't you ever want to come out and play in the snow? your mama was shot by a hunter you've got your papa bear but he ain't like her to keep you warm you need another like me I went walking through the forest one day followed tracks and was lead astray a storm came and tore me away now I'm here I'm lost and lonely too you need me as much as I need you won't you come outside? I'll be yours and you'll be mine make a den until the springtime just the two of us, the two of us come on let's head upstream where the fishing's good and the grass is green live the life you can only dream of with me come on now don't be shy show your face to me in the moonlight won't you come outside? I'll be yours and you'll be mine make a den until the springtime
