The Foundations - Baby, Now That I've Found You
CHORUS
Baby, now that I've found you
I can't let you go
I'll build my world around you
I need you so
Baby, even though you don't need me
You don't need me.
REPEAT CHORUS
Baby, baby, since first we met (doot-doot)
I knew in this heart of mine (I wanna tell you, doot-doot)
The love we had could not be bad (doot-doot)
Play it right and bide my time
Spent a lifetime looking for somebody
To give me love like you
Now you've told me that you wanna leave me
Darling, I just can't let you.

The Foundations - In The Bad, Bad Old Days (Before You Loved Me) (1969)
The Foundations were a British soul band, active from 1967 to 1970. The group was made up of West Indians, White British, and a Sri Lankan. Their 1967 debut single "Baby Now That I've Found You" reached number one in the UK and Canada, and number eleven in the US, while their 1968 single "Build Me Up Buttercup" reached number two in the UK and number three on the US Billboard Hot 100. The group was the first multi-racial group to have a number one hit in the UK in the 1960s.
The Foundations were one of the few British acts to successfully imitate what became known as the Motown Sound. The Foundations signed to Pye, at the time one of only four big UK record companies (the others being EMI with its HMV, Columbia Records, and Parlophone labels; Decca; and Philips who also owned Fontana).

Lyrics
Why do you build me up (build me up) buttercup, baby
Just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around?
And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby
When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still
I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) buttercup, don't break my heart
"I'll be over at ten, " you told me time and again
But you're late, I wait around and then (bah dah dah)
I went to the door, I can't take any more
It's not you, you let me down again
baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey) a little time and I'll make you mine
(Hey, hey, hey) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh
Why do you build me up (build me up) buttercup, baby
Just to let me down (let me down) and mess me around?
And then worst of all (worst of all) you never call, baby
When you say you will (say you will) but I love you still
I need you (I need you) more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up) buttercup, don't break my heart
You were my toy but I could be the boy you adore
If you'd just let me know (bah dah dah)
Although you're untrue, I'm attracted to you all the more
Why do I need you so?
baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey) a little time and I'll make you mine
(Hey, hey, hey) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh

The eagerly awaited follow up to our first CD release, "Emergence", has been released. The CD consists of 9 frighteningly good, pupil popping, sizzles of sonic sorcery! From The Electric Ant comes the crazy, deep, throbbing 'Toxic Dart' that leads into the awesome 'New Directions' from Protoculture, which has been an enormous track this summer in Cape Town. John Coltrane - 1963: New Directions
In the brief, bright arc that is the career of John Coltrane, 1963 marks a point of transition between past jazz masterpieces and future work which would transcend the boundaries of the music itself.
That year's recorded output shows movement in many directions: a look back at the past, continued examination of a familiar repertoire, exploration of more traditional formats and a look forward at compositions and approaches that would further extend the reach of jazz.
- John Coltrane 1963: New Directions collects all of John Coltrane’s 1963 Impulse recordings in the order in which they were recorded.
- 5-LP, 3-CD sets include artwork featuring original collages.
- The box is meant to show the growth in Coltrane’s musical journey in 1963 that ultimately resulted in 1964’s “Crescent” and, ...

Staying North of the Equator, we have a brilliant track from Jonny Om and Dick Trevor's Green Oms that is called 'Fucked Up',
which explains alot.. Rinkadink's equally bonkers 'Sheep Satellite' is
another huge tune which is followed by the lovely funkfest 'Feels Good' from Hydrophonic. The Album is finished with a beautiful dancefloor goose pimpler called 'Wacko' from Hydraglyph.

Following this is the more full-on 'Devil's Playground' from Broken Toy. Next up is the very cheeky 'Suffocation Dividend' from Bent Sentient that is sure to be massive having seen the damage it's done to dancefloors here and then is the perhaps even cheekier 'Vicious Cycle', that has been putting smiles across the faces of many recently; a collaboration between The Electric Ant and the excellent London based Aphid Moon.

- The box is meant to show the growth in Coltrane’s musical journey in 1963 that ultimately resulted in 1964’s “Crescent” and, especially, “A Love Supreme”.
- Music comes from the original albums “Both Directions at Once: The Lost Album”, “John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman”, “Dear Old Stockholm” (released after Coltrane’s death), “Newport ‘63” and “Live at Birdland”.

Lyrics
You're insecure
Don't know what for
You're turning heads when you walk through the door
Don't need make-up, to cover up
Being the way that you are is enough
Everyone else in the room can see it
Everyone else but you
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful, oh oh
That's what makes you beautiful
So come on, you got it wrong
To prove I'm right, I put it in a song
I don't know why, you're being shy
And turn away when I look into your eye eye eyes
Everyone else in the room can see it
Everyone else but you
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful
If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful, oh oh
