The National Democratic Party of Germany (German:Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands, NPD), is a far-rightpolitical party in Germany espousing German nationalism. It was founded in 1964 as successor to the German Reich Party (German:Deutsche Reichspartei, DRP). Party statements also self-identify the party as Germany's "only significant patriotic force". On 1 January 2011, the nationalist German People's Union (German:Deutsche Volksunion) merged with the NPD and the party name of the National Democratic Party of Germany was extended by the addition of "The People's Union".
The party is usually described as a neo-Nazi organization, and has been referred to as "the most significant neo-Nazi party to emerge after 1945". The German Federal Agency for Civic Education, or BPB, has criticized the NPD for working with members of organizations which were later found unconstitutional by the federal courts and disbanded, while the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz, classifies the NPD as a "threat to the constitutional order" because of its platform and philosophy, and it is under their observation. An effort to outlaw the party failed in 2003, because the government had a large number of informers and agents in the party, some in high position, who had written part of the material used against them.
The NDPD was co-founded by Lothar Bolz, Wilhelm Adam and others. It was intended to reach out to social groups that had been attracted by the Nazi Party before 1945 (such as military men and some of the middle classes) and provide them with a political outlet, so that they would not be tempted to support the far-right again. Adam, for instance, had been a member of the SS. However, according to Klaus Schroeder, the NDPD had fewer former Nazis among its ranks than the communist Socialist Unity Party of Germany had. This was due to the NDPD being much smaller than the SED.
The National Democratic Party (Polish:Stronnictwo Demokratyczno-Narodowe, SDN) was a secret political party created in 1897 in the Russian Partition of Poland by the National League (Liga Narodowa), a conspirational Polish organization active in all three partitions. SND rejected the idea of armed struggle for Poland's sovereignty similar to Polish Positivists. Instead, SDN focused on non-violent opposition and legislative attempts at trying to stop the wholesale Russification and Germanization of the Poles ever since the Polish language was banned in the Russian partition in reprisal for the January Uprising. This however meant also rejecting cooperation with the linguistic and ethnic minorities living in the Empire such as Jews and Ukrainians who did not reciprocate the same sentiment. SDN was founded by Roman Dmowski, Jan Ludwik Popławski, and Zygmunt Balicki, to represent the National Democracy movement at elections. It was a political opponent of the Polish Socialist Party advocating armed resistance.
The NDP was founded in the wake of the death of NDC President Prof. John Evans Atta Mills in July 2012. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings had been a 2011 rival of Atta Mills prior to his re-nomination as NDC candidate for president. The NDP announced its formation as part of the opposition to the NDC's candidate -- and President -- John Dramani Mahama for the 7 December 2012 presidential election. The NDP was announced on 6 July 2012 by its Interim General Secretary, Dr Manboah Rockson, and was said to be born of dissatisfaction with the NDC, which had often been personified by the Rawlingses and their supporters. Former populist military head of state Jerry John Rawlings had formed the NDC in 1992, and had led the party as President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001, although he had differences with his successor Atta Mills. Its emblems are described as:
Germany was a bay horse with black socks sired by 1987 the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Trempolino, who was bred in United States and bought as a yearling for $70,000 by the British trainer Ben Hanbury on behalf of Jaber Abdullah at the 1992 Keeneland September sales. He was trained by Bruno Schütz and was raced almost all of his career in Germany with an exception of the 1995 British Champion Stakes in which he failed to give his running on the good to firm ground.
Racing career
Germany raced only 4 times in his first 2 seasons and acquired his black type as a 2yo when winning the Kronimus-Rennen listed race in 1993 over a distance of 7 furlongs but was forced into a long absence having sustained a fracture in his off-fore.
He made his reappearance at four year old and was campaigned over middle distance races winning his first 2 starts in listed and group 3 events in the 1995 spring before adding couple more top level wins in the summer including the Group 1's Bayerisches Zuchtrennen and Grosser Preis von Baden, in the latter beating by 8 lengths in 3rd spot the Irish group performer Right Win who had shown great form in previous 2 seasons winning the Group 2 Gallinule Stakes when ridden by jockey Lester Piggott and Group 1 Gran Premio d'Italia. Germany's last and 8th start of the season was in the British Champion Stakes where after a long campaign and standard of opposition better than on home soil he could not finish in the placings.

Discussion has resumed in Germany about whether to ban the National Democratic Party, the NPD. Founded in 1964, it espouses nationalistic and revanchist views. But, like other parties, it receives financial support from the state. In 2003, the Constitutional Court rejected for procedural reasons a request to have it banned.

Far-right party enters German parliament for first time since World War II
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has won a fourth term in office but her party's share of the vote has fallen, and she is calling on other parties to share responsibility in securing a stable coalition. That is because the mainstream parties have lost at the expense of the far-right AfD, which finished a strong third. It is the first time a far-right force has made it to parliament since the Nazi era.

It's voting year. This video will save you 100 hours of reading the parties manifestos. You're welcome.

A minor far-right radical party in Germany called the 'Dritte Weg', or 'Third Path' is trying to boost its draw with marches evoking the country's Nazi past and openly aligns itself with National Socialism, unapologetically pushing its “Germans only” platform. The group is running candidates for the European parliamentary elections. In the town of Plauen the extremist group has found followers, amidst calls that they should be banned.

The hand-drawn ones were mostly made up by myself, however I did heavily base some characters on reference images:
- The "Social Christian" on J.J. McCullough's cartoon of Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper (e.g. here https://jjmccullough.tumblr.com/post/20515644117/my-most-recent-cartoon-features-several-portraits/amp )

And lastly one that I can't find anymore. I based the SED-ball with the hat and the binoculars on a countryball of N&zi Germany. If you know the original artist, please tell me! I'd like to also credit them!

Right Wing Mob (December 2000) - Behind seemingly sporadic outbursts of violence lies the NPD, the most extreme of all far right parties in Europe.

In February 1999 a group of right wing thugs chased an Algerian through the East German town of Guben. Fearing for his life, the man jumped through a glass window and bled to death. Eleven young men stand accused. Two of them also desecrated the victim’s grave. On Adolf Hitler’s birthday in April this year, a synagogue was firebombed and three neo-Nazis left their trademark behind - “Heil Hitler”. In the past year several fatal attacks on foreigners have taken place, many of them in the former East.
