Free Camping On The Murrumbidgee River, Narrandera
G'day G'day,
As we make our way to Tooleybuc, our next stop was Narrandera. We found another great free camp along the Murrumbidgee. Not alot of filming happned here. Was a nice little town, but most of my time was dedicated to learning a bit more about fresh water fishing. Tried a few different things and started catching a few. But only managed Carp. But that still counts! anyway a beaut little spot just outside of town to set up for a week and have a relax and a look around. recommend it! cheers.

High Water | Paddling the Tumut River to the Murrumbidgee River in Wagga Wagga
Phil Roy returns to continue his solo kayak journey. Thus far, he has paddled from the top of Talbingo Dam to where the Tumut River flows through the town of Tumut itself. In part 2 of High Water, Phil resumes his journey leaving Tumut and paddling until where the Tumut River joins the Murrumbidgee River. Again, Phil is reminded of the significance of slowing down and living simply.

60+km Murrumbidgee River Drift chasing Murray Cod
We just completed a 60+ km drift over 3 days on the Murrumbidgee River. My wife and 3 of her siblings do it every year in their kayaks, this year I decided to join them in the tinny.
I got almost 20 fish on lures in my boat, most of them captured in this video but a few I missed the recording on. The others got about 20 fish between them on bait and a couple on lures.
Each evening when we setup camp I would walk the bank with surface rather than going back out in the boat as I wanted to conserve battery on the electric motor considering the high and fast flows.
Was a great couple of days, keen to do it again soon.
