Mount Brew is a rounded mountain in southwestern British Columbia, Canada, located 18km (11mi) southwest of Whistler in the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains. A public cabin run by the Varsity Outdoor Club, Brew Hut, is located near the summit. The alpine area is a popular destination for hiking in the summer and backcountry ski touring in the winter and spring.
Mount Brew is a volcanic feature in the Mount Cayley volcanic field of the central Garibaldi Volcanic Belt of the Canadian Cascade Arc. It formed during the Pleistocene period when volcanic activity in this area occurred under glacial ice during the last glacial period. Although it had a vigorous start, the eruption that formed Mount Brew was not sufficiently sustained to form a larger edifice that could break through the surrounding ice and water to form a tuya. Instead, the eruption produced a subglacial mound.

Mount Brew is located at Squamish/Whistler-Lillooet area. There are few ways to get here. I had chose the Chance/Roe Creek/R200/R230 FSR's approach. 2WD drive can make it up to R200 anything higher you would need a 4WD with clearance/4x4 to get up to the trailhead. There are around 15 waters bars to go through. The trail is pretty well marked to Brew Lake, route navigation skills require to the Brew Hut & Mount Brew. Bugs are bad out to get ya. The views are amazing in this area. Highly recommended to check this gem out.
From trailhead to Brew Lake & Hut is about 10 km round-trip out & back, with elevation gain of 630 elevation gain (Brew Lake high point 1420 meters), (Brew Hut high point 1680 meters), from Brew Hut to Mount Brew is about 2 km round-trip out & back, some minor bushwackin...

Mount Brew via NE ridge Oct 1, 2020
Enterprise Creek FSR has waterbars but a Honda CRV with 6.7inch clearance and non AT tires made it to the trailhead with only 1 or 2 little back hitch rubs. The old trail leading to the col between Brew NE5 and Brew NE2 has been fixed up and is in really good shape. The NE ridge leading to the summit was alot of fun with it gradually getting more narrow, and more steep. Even if it's shale, our route up the crux all we did was traverse out onto the East face and then climbed directly up shale ramps and ledges to the regain the ridge bypassing the crux. Really fun trip 4hrs up, 4hrs down.
