In 2021, the small town of Lytton, B.C. was wiped out by one of the worst wildfire disasters in Canadian history.
Two years later, not a single structure has been rebuilt and the few residents still living in Lytton are struggling to find closure.

Burned to the Ground: the Canadian village incinerated by record temperatures
The small village of Lytton in British Columbia hit the global media when it smashed Canada's highest temperature ever recorded in June 2021, at 49.6 degrees centigrade.

No evidence train caused fire that destroyed Lytton, BC: TSB
Former residents of Lytton, B.C. are demanding answers over what sparked the fire that destroyed their town this summer.
An investigation by the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) was unable to link the blaze with a freight train that passed through the town, the suspected source of the spark.

An investigation by the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) was unable to link the blaze with a freight train that passed through the town, the suspected source of the spark.
