This season I'm visiting ALL 20 Premier League stadiums - for either a Tour or a Match. In this video I take a look around MOLINEUX. The home of Wolverhampton Wanderers aka WOLVES. Even as a Man United fan, I've always had a soft spot for Wolves as they're my step dad's team and I had the pleasure of watching a few games at Molineux as a kid.
Their performances this season have been decent and have been unlucky in a few games with the results. Their star man is Pedro NETO and I've chosen him as 1 of my 5 picks in this week's Fantasy5 game... If you like Fantasy Football you'll love Fantasy5 - https://bit.ly/3tP7xcu

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made it known that they are planning to expand the capacity of Molineux to around 50,000. The clubs promotion to the Premier League has seen a big increase in demand for season tickets and this coupled with the ambitions of the Club's Chinese owners, means that they are looking to increase capacity.
The Club are planning to first replace the Steve Bull Stand on one side. The new stand will have extensive corporate facilities and once completed it will increase the capacity of Molineux from the current 31,700 to around 36,000. This may also result in away fans being moved from that side of the ground, to be housed instead in the upper tier of the Stan Cullis Stand. The second phase of the development would see the Jack Hayward (South Bank) Stand at one end, being replaced with a much larger single tiered stand of around 10,000. Corners of the stadium will also be filled.

A brief history of Molineux, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club since 1889.
The first stadium built for use by a Football League club. It was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s.
Wolves moved into Molineux Stadium in 1889, having played at various grounds in the first decade of their existence.
Molineux was the site of the first ever league game played in English history. On 7 September 1889 Wolves beat Notts County 2-0.
In 1923, Wolves were able to buy the ground the stadium stood on, and soon after started building a new main stand, the Waterloo Road Stand, which had been designed by Archibald Leitch.
Development continued in the next decade with the opening of the new Molineux Street Stand in 1932 and the renovations of both end terraces in 1935.
In 1939, Molineux recorded its highest attendance when 61,315 fans saw Wolves play Liverpool in an FA Cup match.
Molineux remained practically unchanged in the following decades, and slowly fell into a state of disrepair. In 1975, the Molineux Street Stand failed to meet safety requirements and a new luxury grandstand was built instead.
This new stand however severely impacted Wolves’ finances and brought the club on the brink of bankruptcy. By the 1980s, only two stands were in use and the club lacked the finances to make improvements to the ground.
Only after Sir Jack Hayward bought the club in 1990, funding became available for the redevelopment of Molineux. Between 1991 and December 1993, the three remaining old stands were demolished and replaced with new ones.
In May 2010, Wolves announced a £40 million redevelopment programme of Molineux. Under the plans, three stands would gradually get rebuilt and linked up, which would lead to a capacity of 38,000 seats.
Works started in 2011 on the Stan Cullis Stand, which was completed in 2012. The next two stages, however, were postponed as the club stated to want to use the limited funds available for the development of the Wolves youth academy.

Molineux Stadium is a football stadium situated in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, has been the home ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889.
The first stadium built for use by a Football League club, it was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s.
At the time of its multi-million pound renovation in the early 1990s, Molineux was one of the biggest and most modern stadia in England, though it has since been eclipsed by other ground developments.
Molineux is a 31,750 all-seater stadium, but it consistently attracted much greater attendances when it was mostly terracing.
The record attendance is 61,315.
Plans were announced in 2010 for a £40 million redevelopment programme to rebuild and link three sides of the stadium to increase capacity to 38,000 seats.
There are provisional plans for a longer term redevelopment of every stand that could create a 50,000 capacity.
The stadium is a few hundred yards north of Wolverhampton city centre, at the far side of the city's ring road, and is a prominent building due to its size in an area with predominantly low-rise buildings.
In the days before seating regulations, the ground could hold more than 60,000 spectators the record attendance for a match at the ground is 61,315 for a Football League First Division game against Liverpool on 11 February 1939.
On 24 June 2003, Molineux also became Wolverhampton's biggest live concert venue, with Bon Jovi performing in front of 34,000 people.[10]
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, commonly referred to as Wolves, is a professional football club based in Wolverhampton, England, which competes in the Premier League.
The club has played at Molineux Stadium since moving from Dudley Road in 1889.
The club's traditional kit consists of old gold shirts and socks with black shorts.
Since 1979, the kit has also featured the club's "wolf's head" logo. Long-standing rivalries exist with other clubs from the West Midlands, including Aston Villa F.C. but the main one being the Black Country derby contested with West Bromwich Albion.
Since 2016, the club has been owned by the Chinese conglomerate Fosun International.
Formed as St. Luke's F.C. in 1877, the club changed name to Wolverhampton Wanderers two years later and became one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888.
They won the FA Cup for the first time in 1893, and again as a Second Division team in 1908 following the club's relegation two years previously.
The team was crowned English League champions three times – in 1953–54, 1957–58 and 1958–59 – all under the management of Stan Cullis.
Wolves also won another two FA Cup finals, in 1949 and 1960.
Wolves won the League Cup in 1974 and 1980, and again won the Second Division title in 1976–77.
