Mary Ryan(マリー・ライアン,Marī Raian), better known as Blue Mary(ブルー・マリー,Burū Marī), is a video game character from both the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series of fighting games developed by SNK Playmore (formerly "SNK"). Blue Mary's first appearance was in the arcade and console game Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory which introduced her as an special agent who investigates two criminals known as the Jin Brothers. During the series, Mary meets Terry Bogard, and he becomes a love interest of hers. She is also featured in The King of Fighters in which she enters several consecutive 'King of Fighters' tournaments, changing teams over time. Blue Mary has also appeared in the twenty-minute featurette Memories of Stray Wolves based on the Fatal Fury series.
Android 18, a character from the Dragon Ball manga was Blue Mary's model during development of the series. Her appearances in The King of Fighters owe to popularity polls developed by three video game journals, with Mary being first in Gamest's poll allowed to her to become playable for The King of Fighters '97 and subsequent installments. Video game publications have commented on Blue Mary's character, praising her introduction in Fatal Fury 3 and her development through various games.
'"Misty Blue"' is a song written by Bob Montgomery in 1966 which has become a hit in the pop, C&W and soul fields through various versions, the most successful being the 1976 pop/soul hit by Dorothy Moore.
C&W hit versions
Montgomery wrote the song for Brenda Lee; he recalls: "I wrote 'Misty Blue' in about twenty minutes. It was a gift and it was perfect for Brenda Lee, but she turned it down. Her producer Owen Bradley loved the song and as he couldn’t push her to do it, he cut it country style with Wilma Burgess." Burgess recorded the song in a 24 March 1966 session at the Columbia Recording Studio in South Nashville; after another track from the same session, "Don't Touch Me", was released to become a #12 C&W hit that summer, "Misty Blue" was released in October 1966 to spend most of December 1966 and January–February 1967 in the C&W Top Ten, peaking #4 and was Burgess' highest charting release.
Eddy Arnold recorded "Misty Blue" in a Chet Atkins-produced session at the RCA Victor Studio on 20 April 1966; included on the June 1966 album release The Last Word in Lonesome, Arnold's "Misty Blue" had a belated single release in May 1967 to introduce The Best of Eddy Arnold compilation album. Besides virtually matching Burgess' success with the song—Arnold's version peaking at C&W #3—Arnold's "Misty Blue" became the first version of the song to crossover to the pop field reaching #57 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1967 and rising as high as #3 Easy Listening: the single's pop chart peaks in Cash Box and Record World were respectively #20 and #48.
Misty Blue is a 1968 studio album by the American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, featuring mostly renditions of recent country music hits. The single "I Taught Him Everything He Knows" appeared on Billboard's "Easy Listening" survey.

MISTY BLUE DOROTHY MOORE
Oh, it's been such a long, long time,
Looks like I get you off my mind,
Oh, but I can't,
Just the thought of you,
Turns my whole world,
A misty blue.
Just the mention of your name,
Turns the flicker to a flame,
I think of things we used to do,
Then my whole world,
Turns misty blue.
(chorus)
I should forget you,
Heaven knows I tried,
But, when I say,
"I'm glad we're through."
My heart knows I've lied.

When the inspiration is above my station Thoughts are iqeienchoiy and I let them pass I tend to view this nation Through the condensation On a dirty glass When the singer solemn was a honnie laddie When she brushed his hair with a watered comb Then he could have dandered And he could have shown ye Seven hitis like Home If misty eyes can witness love and affection Why does the heart still resist What the hell is wrong with you? I've got eyes of misty blue All the things I want to do Are all I ever wanted toAs the laddic grew and he looked aroung him At the thugs and rapists in their stolen suits louder beat the rhythm of his bloody heart Telling him to shoot Thoughtless competition Like a home-made prison Made him fix his vision On a certain fate What's the use in winning all the worlds creation If you won't create.
