The 2010 Panama City school board shootings occurred on December 14, 2010, in Panama City, Florida. In the attack, a disgruntled individual, Clay Allen Duke, fired four shots at six Bay District School board members, but missed them all, including the superintendent. Duke was then shot several times by security guard Mike Jones, a former policeman; shortly afterward Duke killed himself with a shot to the head.
Much of the episode and its immediate aftermath were recorded by local television news stations WMBB and WJHG-TV. The video was subsequently uploaded to video sharing sites, including YouTube.
Incident
At 2:00p.m. on December 14, 2010, Duke stood up during a school board meeting in Panama City, Florida, and said, "I have a motion." He then promptly pulled out a can of red spray paint and sprayed a "V" inside a circle, as seen in the film V for Vendetta. He then produced a 9mmSmith & Wesson 469 semiautomatic pistol, causing other staff near the bench and audience members to duck for cover. He aimed the gun at the board members and used it to point to two women, saying, "You may leave, and you may leave...the women can leave...The six men stay, everyone else leave."
The aim is to link the national authority files (such as the German Name Authority File) to a single virtual authority file. In this file, identical records from the different data sets are linked together. A VIAF record receives a standard data number, contains the primary "see" and "see also" records from the original records, and refers to the original authority records. The data are made available online and are available for research and data exchange and sharing. Reciprocal updating uses the Open Archives Initiative protocol.
The file numbers are also being added to Wikipedia biographical articles and are incorporated into Wikidata.
Mike Jones (born August 11, 1962) is an American jazz pianist. He has appeared onstage with Penn and Teller since 2006, and continues to play with them during their nightly show in Las Vegas.
He first garnished praise as a young musician, performing professionally at the age of ten. Following the advice of Oscar Peterson, Jones attended Berklee School of Music, in Boston. While still attending the school he started work as a studio musician.
During his time commuting from Boston to New York, Jones worked as the on-air pianist and music director of the Nancy Merrill Show. He also appeared throughout the New England area with jazz musicians Herb Pomeroy, Gray Seargent, Dick Johnson, and others. In 1994 his first solo recording on Chiaroscuro Records, "Oh, Look At Me Now" was released. This was followed by "Runnin' Wild" recorded live in Buffalo, NY, his hometown, and then "Live At Steinway Hall", in New York City.
Through his association with Hank O'Neal, Mike was invited to perform on the Floating Jazz Festival on the S.S. Norway and later, the Queen Elizabeth II. The Verve reissue of Oscar Peterson's On The Town featured liner notes by Neil Tesser with extensive commentary by Mike Jones. Penn Jillette and his friends found him playing in a Las Vegas Resort, and were invited to the recording sessions for Stretches Out, Jones's fourth solo CD for Chiaroscuro. In February 2002, he was invited to become part of the Penn & Teller show, and performs nightly with them at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.

Mike Jones performs music from what’s become known as the Great American Songbook for more people each year than any jazz pianist in the world. Really. This is because, as music director for the enduringly popular Penn & Teller Show in Las Vegas and other venues across the globe, he plays these classic standards in the “warm-up” hour – and during and between the onstage magic – for the millions of visitors who attend the show. In a career spanning four decades, Jones has wowed audiences with his virtuoso skills and stylistic flair – nowhere to greater acclaim than at the sold-out houses in New York that marked Penn and Teller’s 2015 six-week return to Broadway
