Mickey Charles Mantle (October 20, 1931 – August 13, 1995), nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick", was an American professional baseball player. Mantle played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees as a center fielder and first baseman, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle was one of the best players and sluggers, and is regarded by many as the greatest switch hitter in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.
Mantle was arguably the greatest offensive threat of any center fielder in baseball history. He has the highest career OPS+ of any center fielder and he had the highest stolen base percentage in history at the time of his retirement. In addition, compared to the four other center fielders on the all-century team, he had the lowest career rate of grounding into double plays (by far) and he had the highest World Series on-base percentage and World Series slugging percentage. He also had an excellent 0.984 fielding percentage when playing center field. Mantle was noted for his ability to hit for both average and power, especially tape measure home runs. He hit 536 MLB career home runs, batted .300 or more ten times, and is the career leader (tied with Jim Thome) in walk-off home runs, with a combined thirteen, twelve in the regular season and one in the postseason.
Lyndon Baines Johnson (/ˈlɪndən ˈbeɪnz ˈdʒɒnsən/; August 27, 1908 – January 22, 1973), often referred to as LBJ, was the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969, assuming the office after serving as the 37th Vice President of the United States from 1961 to 1963. Johnson was a Democrat from Texas, who served as a United States Representative from 1937 to 1949 and as a United States Senator from 1949 to 1961. He spent six years as Senate Majority Leader, two as Senate Minority Leader, and two as Senate Majority Whip.
Johnson ran for the Democratic nomination in the 1960 presidential election. Although unsuccessful, he was chosen by Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts to be his running mate. They went on to win the election and Johnson was sworn in as Vice President on January 20, 1961. Two years and ten months later, on November 22, 1963, Johnson succeeded Kennedy as President following the latter's assassination. He ran for a full term in the 1964 election, winning by a landslide over Republican Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater. He is one of four people who have served as President and Vice President, as well as in both houses of Congress.

Mickey Mantle: The Definitive Story (MLB Baseball Sports Documentary) The almost mythic career of Yankee slugger Mickey Mantle is the subject of this acclaimed HBO Sports documentary special. Over 18 seasons with the Bronx Bombers, despite constant nagging injuries, Mantle managed to hit 536 home runs, twice hitting more than 50 in a season. He finished ten seasons with a batting average of .300 or more and suited up for seven World Series. To this day, ?The Mick? remains the greatest switch-hitter in baseball history; however, behind his country charm and good looks there was his wayward lifestyle that harmed his marriage, his relationship with his four sons and ultimately his health.

It is in the vibrant heart of Oklahoma City’s historic Bricktown where you will find a legendary steakhouse with an iconic name. Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse is a tribute to the baseball great and beloved Oklahoma native. Reporter Jenifer Reynolds and videographer Tommy Evans unveil the many reasons why this place is a homerun when it comes to an impressive dining experience.
Pinstripes of the Past: No player ever hit a home run outside the confines of Yankee Stadium, but Mickey Mantle came the closest. On May 30, 1956, Mantle crushed a home run that reportedly came within 18 inches of leaving the stadium. It bounced back onto the field, was tossed back into the dugout, and then was given to Mantle's teammate Eddie Robinson, who then displayed it at his restaurant in Baltimore for many years. This homerun encapsulates the triple crown season Mickey Mantle had that year in 1956. Lyndon Johnson ascended to the presidency upon the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He was a large, imposing man, who had been an influential Senate Majority Leader and Vice President. And as President, it is difficult to say whether he is remembered better for his incredible domestic accomplishments or his miserable failure in foreign policy that was the Vietnam War. Either way, his presidency coincided with the tumultuous and revolutionary 1960s, with its hippie counterculture and shifting cultural landscape, so let's get a closer look at this fascinating figure now. Verse 1:
Never thought to light a candle
Never thought I had to gamble
I was feeling Mickey Mantle... Wasted
Driving up the one and frantic
Turned into an old romantic
I was sleeping in the attic... Waiting
Pre Chorus 1:
Can't nobody ever see
Don't make a mess of me
I aint to old to give a shit
I can turn a train around
I can take your country down
I aint to young to regret
Chorus:
Forever, Forever, I aint to young x3
Verse 2:
I was in New York living
Waiting in the cold Thanksgiving
Hoping I could ever dare to... Embrace it
I can play a part uptown
I can keep my nose on the ground
Never though I'd ever care to... Face it
Pre Chorus 2:
I could never understand
I was just a foolish fan
Taken to the edge just to see
Who said your mother was right
Who said your friends were just blind
Who could tell you I was free
Chorus:
Forever, Forever, I aint to young x4
Ending Verse:
I was in New York living
Waiting in the cold Thanksgiving
