Volume 2 is a compilation album by American heavy metal band CKY. It was released by Distant Recordings and Teil Martin International on February 27, 1999, the same day as the band's debut studio album Volume 1. The album features a number of early demo recordings, as well as skits and samples from the first CKY video, and recordings of prank calls performed by Brandon DiCamillo.
Often considered a soundtrack album for the first CKY video, Volume 2 was produced early in CKY's career, largely during sessions for Volume 1 and earlier demos. In contrast to other releases by the band, the album features a number of comedic tracks included in the CKY video, as well as various skits and other rough recordings. Multiple songs have been subsequently released in other forms.
Joan Baez, Vol. 2 was Baez's second album. Released in 1961, the album, like her self-titled 1960 debut album, featured mostly traditional songs. The bluegrass band The Greenbriar Boys provided backup on two songs. Joan Baez, Vol. 2 peaked at #13 on the Billboard album chart and was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Contemporary Folk Performance".
The Vanguard reissue contains three unreleased tracks, "I Once Loved A Boy", "Poor Boy", and "Longest Train I Ever Saw".
Reception
In his Allmusic review, music critic Matt Fink wrote of the album: "The material chosen is truly exceptional... Without a doubt, Baez's version of "Pal of Mine" is every bit as vibrant as when the Carters recorded it, though here given a more bluegrass sound by the banjo and backup vocal accompaniment of the Greenbriar Boys. Baez is a true master of her craft, and though she hasn't always made the best choices for material, the 14 interpretations here are as timeless as the songs themselves... this is an album that all fans of traditional folk music should seek out."
Volume 2 is the second album by punk band Reagan Youth. The group began working on the record after its decision to disband, and its songs represent material written throughout the band's ten-year initial career. As bassist Victor Dominicis left the band early in the album's recording sessions with an unsatisfactory performance, guitarist Paul Bakija plays both guitar and bass on the record.

Mason Durell Betha (born August 27, 1977), better known by stage nameMase (stylized Ma$e), is an American rapper, poet, singer-songwriter and record producer. He hails from Harlem, New York City, New York. He was once signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs's label Bad Boy Records. He was introduced as Bad Boy's next big artist during the summer of 1996, when he was featured on the remix to 112's debut single, "Only You", which peaked at number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart as well as its Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. With his slow flow Mase quickly developed a crossover fan base as he was featured on original tracks and remixes by popular R&B artists such as Brian McKnight, Mariah Carey, Keith Sweat and Brandy, among others. Puff Daddy (Diddy), featured Mase on "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" from The Notorious B.I.G.'s double-disc album Life After Death (1997), the album's biggest hit single. He then featured Mase on several songs from his own debut album, No Way Out (1997): the lead single, "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down", which hit number one on the Rap, R&B, and Pop charts, as well as on "Been Around the World", which would also reach number one on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks. By the time Mase released his own debut album, Harlem World, in late 1997, the rapper had become Bad Boy's premier artist, filling the void left by the death of B.I.G.. He was married to Twyla Betha and leads an international ministry while still making occasional musical guest appearances.
Mase is first mentioned about 1100 as villa Magis. Until 1902 it was known as Mage.
Geography
Mase has an area, as of 2009, of 11.1 square kilometers (4.3sqmi). Of this area, 4.04km2 (1.56sqmi) or 36.4% is used for agricultural purposes, while 5.06km2 (1.95sqmi) or 45.6% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.41km2 (0.16sqmi) or 3.7% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.03km2 (7.4 acres) or 0.3% is either rivers or lakes and 1.54km2 (0.59sqmi) or 13.9% is unproductive land.
Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.0% and transportation infrastructure made up 1.7%. Out of the forested land, 40.8% of the total land area is heavily forested and 4.4% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 0.1% is used for growing crops and 6.9% is pastures and 29.4% is used for alpine pastures. All the water in the village is flowing water. Of the unproductive areas, 7.5% is unproductive vegetation and 6.4% is too rocky for vegetation.
Alicante (/ˌælᵻˈkæntiˌ-teɪ/, Spanish:[aliˈkante]), or Alacant (Valencian:[alaˈkant]), both the Valencian and Spanish being official names, is a city and port in Spain on the Costa Blanca, the capital of the province of Alicante and of the comarca of Alacantí, in the south of the Valencian Community. It is also a historic Mediterranean port. The population of the city of Alicante proper was 332,067, estimated as of 2014, ranking as the second-largest Valencian city. Including nearby municipalities, the Alicante conurbation had 452,462 residents. The population of the metropolitan area (including Elche and satellite towns) was 757,085 as of 2014 estimates, ranking as the eighth-largest metropolitan area of Spain.
Naming
The name of the city echoes the Arabic name Laqant (لَقَنْت) or Al-Laqant (ألَلَقَنْت), which in turn reflects the Latin Lucentum.
History
The area around Alicante has been inhabited for over 7000 years. The first tribes of hunter gatherers moved down gradually from Central Europe between 5000 and 3000 BC. Some of the earliest settlements were made on the slopes of Mount Benacantil. By 1000 BC Greek and Phoenician traders had begun to visit the eastern coast of Spain, establishing small trading ports and introducing the native Iberian tribes to the alphabet, iron and the pottery wheel. By the 3rd century BC, the rival armies of Carthage and Rome began to invade and fight for control of the Iberian Peninsula. The Carthaginian general Hamilcar Barca established the fortified settlement of Akra Leuka (Greek: Ἄκρα Λευκή, meaning "White Mountain" or "White Point"), where Alicante stands today.
Alicante (Spanish:[aliˈkante]), or Alacant (Valencian:[alaˈkant]), is a province of eastern Spain, in the southern part of the Valencian Community. It is bordered by the provinces of Murcia on the southwest, Albacete on the west, Valencia on the north, and the Mediterranean Sea on the east. The province is named after its capital, the city of Alicante.
Territory, population and resources
According to the 2009 population data, Alicante ranks as the 4th most populous province in Spain (after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia), with 1,917,012 inhabitants. Cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants in the province are Alicante (334,757 inhabitants), Elche (230,112), Torrevieja (101,792), Orihuela (86,164), Benidorm (71,034), Alcoy (61,552), Elda (55,168), and San Vicente del Raspeig (53,126).
The province has the largest ratio of foreigner population among all Spanish provinces. The total of 446,368 foreigners are registered in the province, which represents 23.6 percent of the total population. Out of 141 municipalities that make up the province, foreign population is above 25% in 54 municipalities, and above 50% in 19 municipalities. The latter include San Fulgencio (80%), Rojales (74%), Benitatxell (69.8%), Algorfa (69.7%), Llíber (67%), Teulada (65.5%), Daya Vieja (64.4%); San Miguel de Salinas (64.3%), Calp (62.8%), Els Poblets (61.6%), Alcalalí (60.8%), Benijófar (58.5%), L'Alfàs del Pi (56.6%), Orba (55%), Xàbia (54%), Torrevieja (53.5%), Murla (52%), Fondó (51.7%), and Benidoleig (50%).

I Once Loved a Boy (Singer: Joan Baez)
I once loved a boy
And the bold brown-haired boy
I would come and would go at his request
And this bold bonnie boy
Was my pride and my joy
And I built him a bower in my breast
And this girl who has taken
My bold bonnie love
May she make of it all that she can
For whether he loves me
Or loves me not
I will walk with my love now and then

the satirical quote on the cover "Oh, come now Jim, it could never happen here........" is frighteningly far too relevant. while many of RY's lyrics are juvenile and totally uninformed, they did give a handful of truly poignant commentaries. a final solution for new aryans: death to the nazis and the ku klux klan!

They attended Forest Hills High School, when they formed their band... After rehearsals under the name Pus, with a varying rhythm section, the group changed its name to Reagan Youth, shortly before playing its first gig on August 1980.
They quickly gained a following and were soon playing the punk clubs of Manhattan.

ABOUT THE BAND
American anarcho-punk band formed by singer Dave Rubinstein (Dave Insurgent) and guitarist Paul Bakija (Paul Cripple) in Queens (New York) in early '80s.
Lyrics are an aggressively anarchist, socialist and anti-racist... The band often utilized Ku Klux Klan and Nazi Party imagery for satirical effect.
The band expressed its left-wing politics through irony, using images from hate groups for their album/CD covers.
Musically firmly rooted in the early hardcore/punk crossover tradition, but moved deeper into waters uncharted by their punk rock contemporaries as their career progressed... While their 1983 debut is an accomplished work squarely in keeping with hardcore punk convention, their 1990 followup features dense guitar work replete with solos and overdubs, diversified tempos and several sonic experiments.

Joan Baez sings the traditional song 'I Once Loved a Boy'. This song is a bonus (previously unreleased) track on the 2001 Vanguard reissue of her 1961 album 'Joan Baez, Vol. 2'. The lyrics are below with comments about the album.
[CD/13-Images]
I Once Loved a Boy (Singer: Joan Baez)
I once loved a boy
And the bold brown-haired boy
I would come and would go at his request
And this bold bonnie boy
Was my pride and my joy
And I built him a bower in my breast
And this girl who has taken
My bold bonnie love
May she make of it all that she can
For whether he loves me
Or loves me not
I will walk with my love now and then
Songwriter: Traditional song

Wikipedia states:
Joan Baez, Vol. 2 was Baez's second album. Released in 1961, the album, like her self-titled 1960 debut album, featured mostly traditional songs. The bluegrass band The Greenbriar Boys provided backup on two songs. Joan Baez, Vol. 2 peaked at #13 on the Billboard album chart and was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Contemporary Folk Performance". The Vanguard reissue contains three unreleased tracks, "I Once Loved A Boy", "Poor Boy", and "Longest Train I Ever Saw".
In his Allmusic review, music critic Matt Fink wrote of the album:
"The material chosen is truly exceptional...

Hip hop, a way of life Chosen by the ghetto youth out of necessity It involves graffiti, deejaying, breakdancing and emceeing Which all rely on raw, artistic skill You know, they used to tell me that this music would never last Now look at it now, it influences all music here today So either you respect it we gon' take it back Hip hop, the voice of the street, the voice of the youth The voice that you hear, the voice that only we produce The way that we salute that makes the wildest niggas start to shoot The voice that recoupes only 12% of the loot The voice of the groups, like OutKast, LOX and The Roots The voice of the truth, that no society can ever mute The voice of the men and women who gave their lives defendin The God-given rights, they had no choice but to fight The voice of the black, latino and the white The voice of the club that makes the freaks come out at night The voice of the thugs who pop champagne and rock ice The voice of the shorties who wear tight shirts and talk sheist The voice of the shook who look one time but not twice The voice of the crooks at gambling spot with hot dice The voice of the church, mosque, synagogue and temple The voice of your soul, your body and your mental The voice that says "rap!" when I hear a instrumental The voice that don't stop and it's just that simple The voice that don't stop and it's just that simple The voice that don't, d-d-don't, d-don't... Yo, we live that life that you call hip hop From the bottom straight to the tip top Hey Rawls, we got em while them others did not So if you with the LC, nigga, lick shot If you live that life they call hip hop Worldwide everyday tic-toc This life is like nothin to play with, ock That's why when I say "shit" you say "shit hot" That's why when I say "shit" you say "shit hot" That's why when I say "shit" you say "shit hot" That's why when I say "shit" you say "shit hot" That's why when I say "shit" - (*excerpt from the movie _Wildstyle_*) [ Double Trouble ] Cause here's a little story that must be told About two cool brothers that were put on hold Tried to hold us back from fortune and fame They destroyed the crew and they killed our name They tried to step on the ego and walk on the pride But true blue brothers stand side by side Through thick and thin, from beginning to end
