"Love and Anger" is a song written and performed by the British singer Kate Bush. It was the third and final single to be released from her album The Sensual World in 1990, and peaked at no.38 on UK Singles Chart. The song also reached no.1 on the U.S. BillboardModern Rock Tracks chart, Bush's only chart-topper on any U.S. chart.
"Love and Anger" was also Bush's debut single on her new U.S. label, Columbia Records. EMI America allegedly "forgot" to renew her contract, so Columbia picked her up.
B-sides
The B-sides on the single were "Ken", "One Last Look around the House before We Go" and "The Confrontation", the latter two of which are instrumentals and were only available on the CD release and 12" version of this single. All three songs were written for the episode GLC: The Carnage Continues... of the British TV program The Comic Strip. "Ken" was the theme music for the episode's parody of a Hollywood action movie about British politician Ken Livingstone, whom Bush describes in the song as a 'funky sex machine'.
The film is composed of episodes that deal with some of the themes present in Jesus' parables and anecdotes of the canonical gospels. These issues, however, are reproduced in the present from their directors.

Indifference
A man is suffering from road, badly injured. Passers do not deign to look at him, and continue walking on their way. The episode is taken from Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan.
Agony
A bishop is ill and about to die. Before he dies, the man has a vision of God, who tells him that his life has been misspent. The bishop realizes that he spent his life not properly respecting the gospel, but now it is too late.
The sequence of the paper flower
A beautiful smiling guy's walking on the streets of a city, bringing with him a large poppy paper. The boy is the goodness and innocence of youth, which is soon cut short by human wickedness. Indeed, while the merry boy is walking, the episode shows the evil done by man during the Second World War. At the end of the story, the boy is struck by lightning from the sky and dies, guilty of having been in his life a happy person and a good neighbor.
Love and Anger is a play by George F. Walker. It remains one of his most widely produced plays both in Canada and internationally.
It is the fourth installment of Walker's East End Plays, a series of plays that also includes Criminals in Love, Better Living, Beautiful City and Escape from Happiness.
The play centres on Petey Maxwell, a lawyer in Toronto who is recovering from a stroke. Formerly a greedy corporate lawyer, he has reinvented himself as a champion of the underdog who runs a one-man legal office with the help of his secretary Eleanor Downey. His first client is Gail, a woman whose husband has been framed for a crime by John "Babe" Connor, the wealthy and powerful publisher of an archly conservative tabloid newspaper; Connor's lawyer Sean, an aspiring politician, is a former law school classmate of Maxwell's who is now married to Maxwell's ex-wife. Maxwell's only other ally is Sarah, Eleanor's mentally ill sister.
