David Coverdale (born 22 September 1951) is an English rock singer most famous for his work with Whitesnake, the commercially successful hard rock band he founded in 1978. Before Whitesnake, Coverdale was the lead singer of Deep Purple from late 1973 to 15 March 1976, when he resigned from the band and established his solo career. A collaboration album with Jimmy Page, released in 1993, was a commercial and critical success. He is also well known for drawing the covers of the Whitesnake albums. In 2016 he will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple.
Coverdale was born on 22 September 1951, in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar and Cleveland, England. His love for music developed early. Around the age of 14, the aspiring singer began performing professionally and developing the voice which made him famous. "I don't think my voice had broken," he explained to Sounds in 1974. "And that's when I first learnt how to sing with my stomach, which sounds silly, but it's totally different from a normal voice." Coverdale started his performing career with the local bands Vintage 67 (1966–68), The Government (1968–72) and Fabulosa Brothers (1972–73).
Love Man is the fourth posthumous album by American soul recording artist Otis Redding. It was released in June 1969 and featured songs Redding had recorded in 1967. The album was produced by Steve Cropper, and featured Booker T. and the M.G.'s.
The album was a part of a series of posthumous releases by Atco Records after Redding's mainstream reputation skyrocketed in the wake of his 1967 death.Love Man charted at number 46 on the Billboard 200 and number 8 on the R&B Albums.
"Direct Me" has pop and gospel elements and a heavy tambourine-laden arrangement. On "I'm a Changed Man", Redding employed scat singing. The album's title track has a mid-tempo funk groove and lyrical references to the hippie culture that had begun to appreciate Redding at the time. The song charted at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the R&B Singles. "A Lover's Question" peaked at number 48 and number 20, respectively, and "Free Me" reached number 30 on the R&B Singles chart.
David (Greek: Δαυΐδ; fl. 6th century) was a Greek scholar and a commentator on Aristotle and Porphyry.
He may have come from Thessaly, but in later times he was confused with an Armenian of the same name (David Anhaght). He was a pupil of Olympiodorus in Alexandria in the late 6th century. His name suggests that he was a Christian.
Three commentaries to Aristotle's works attributed to him have survived: as well as an introduction to philosophy (prolegomena):
All these works will be published, with an English translation, in the series Commentaria in Aristotelem Armeniaca - Davidis Opera (five volumes), edited by Jonathan Barnes andValentina Calzolari.
Another anonymous commentary on Porphyry's Isagoge which was falsely ascribed to Elias (pseudo-Elias), was also falsely ascribed to David.
David (Bulgarian: Давид) (died 976) was a Bulgarian noble, brother of Emperor Samuel and eldest son of komes Nicholas. After the disastrous invasion of Rus' armies and the fall of North-eastern Bulgaria under Byzantine occupation in 971, he and his three younger brothers took the lead of the defence of the country. They executed their power together and each of them governed and defended a separate region. He ruled the southern-most parts of the realm from Prespa and Kastoria and was responsible for the defence the dangerous borders with Thessalonica and Thessaly. In 976 he participated in the major assault against the Byzantine Empire but was killed by vagrant Vlachs between Prespa and Kostur.
However, there's also another version about David’s origin. David gains the title "comes" during his service in the Byzantine army which recruited many Armenians from the Eastern region of the empire. The 11th-century historian Stepanos Asoghik wrote that Samuel had one brother, and they were Armenians from the district Derjan. This version is supported by the historians Nicholas Adontz, Jordan Ivanov, and Samuil's Inscription where it’s said that Samuel’s brother is David. Also, the historians Yahya and Al Makin clearly distinguish the race of Samuel and David (the Comitopouli) from the one of Moses and Aaron (the royal race):
David (Spanish pronunciation: [daˈβið]) officially San José de David is a city and corregimiento located in the west of Panama. It is the capital of the province of Chiriquí and has an estimated population of 144,858 inhabitants as confirmed in 2013. It is a relatively affluent city with a firmly established, dominant middle class and a very low unemployment and poverty index. The Pan-American Highway is a popular route to David.
The development of the banking sector, public construction works such as the expansion of the airport and the David-Boquete highway alongside the growth of commercial activity in the city have increased its prominence as one of the fastest growing regions in the country. The city is currently the economic center of the Chiriqui province and produces more than half the gross domestic product of the province, which totals 2.1 billion. It is known for being the third-largest city in the country both in population and by GDP and for being the largest city in Western Panama.
I was dreaming of the past, Why do good times never last Help me Jesus, show the way I can't hold on another day I was hungry, felling low, I just couldn't make out which way to go Chasing rainbows that have no end, The road is long without friend Be my friend, be my brother, Be the piper, play the call Across the seven seas of wonder Be the guardian of my soul Just a young man looking homeward, Watching the sun go down again Across the water, the sun is shining, But, will it ever, will it ever be the same Be my friend, be my brother, Be the piper, play the call Across the seven seas of wonder Be the guardian of my soul I need somebody, I need someone, I need somebody to call my own Like a blindman, I can feel the heat of the sun, But, like a blindman I don't know, I don't know, I don...

After Deep Purple crumbled in the mid-'70s, vocalist David Coverdale began a solo career with 1977's White Snake. Before too long, Coverdale would adopt that album title as the name of his new band. Coverdale gathered future Whitesnake guitarist Micky Moody, keyboardist Tim Hinckley, bassist De Lisle Harper, and noted session drummer Simon Phillips. Background singers Liza Strike, Helen Chappelle, and Barry St. John are prominently featured, too. Uncredited horn players also contribute to the album. Ex-Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover produced the album and also added some synthesizer parts. David Law commentates on television and radio for the BBC and BT Sport. Here is a showreel with some samples of his work.

Lately, I realise that it's you
You are the one who makes everything right,
summer days and winter nights
Slowly, I open my eyes and your smile is there to greet me
and whisper words to tell me it's alright,
I'll stay by you in your darkest night
Time and again the situation shows,
you make it better...
Time and again I realize,
you are the morning of my day...
Time and again my feelings let me know
you make it better...
We wasted words on conversation,
'cos all I wanna do is just talk about,
the woman I love, woman I love...
I never thought I could be this way,
when I hold you in my arms
I know I just wanna stayv this is the place I should be,
in sweet harmony with the woman I love..
You and I could always
talk it over as friends
and you never, ever worried,
we always make it good in the end..
Time and again the situation shows,
you make it better...
Time and again I realize,
you are the morning of my day...
Time and again my feelings let me know
you make it better...
No wasted words on conversation,
a necessary seperation
'cos all I wanna do is just talk about,
