Logistics is generally the detailed organization and implementation of a complex operation. In a general business sense, logistics is the management of the flow of things between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet requirements of customers or corporations. The resources managed in logistics can include physical items, such as food, materials, animals, equipment and liquids, as well as abstract items, such as time and information. The logistics of physical items usually involves the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and often security.
In military science, logistics is concerned with maintaining army supply lines while disrupting those of the enemy, since an armed force without resources and transportation is defenseless. Military logistics was already practiced in the ancient world and as modern military have a significant need for logistics solutions, advanced implementations have been developed, especially for the United States Armed Forces. In military logistics, logistics officers manage how and when to move resources to the places they are needed.
Logistics is the stage name of Matt Gresham, a drum and bass music producer and DJ from Cambridge, England. He is signed to Hospital Records. He creates his music using the Ableton sequencer. His music style tends to be towards the more soul-influenced styles of drum & bass but is also targeted at a club audience rather than a home audience, which is described as such by Hospital Records as "bridging the gap between a lacklustre subgenre, liquid funk, and more exciting, dancefloor orientated drum and bass". His two brothers – Dan Gresham (best known as Nu:Tone) and Nick Gresham (known under the names Other Echoes and, formerly, Bastille) – are also producers signed to Hospital Records. Matt has also collaborated with Dan under the name Nu:Logic.
Biography
Matt Gresham grew up listening mainly to guitar based music such as Rage Against the Machine, and downtempoelectronic music. He took no interest in drum and bass, unlike his brother at the time, until he was introduced to the "Music Box" LP released by Full Cycle Records, which appealed to him as he described it "like downtempo tunes with double time beats".

"Logistics", a term borrowed from the military environment, is also fashionably used in the same sense.

Land or "ground" shipping can be by train or by truck (International English: lorry). In air and sea shipments, ground transport is required to take the cargo from its place of origin to the airport or seaport and then to its destination because it is not always possible to establish a production facility near ports due to limited coastlines of countries. Ground transport is typically more affordable than air, but more expensive than sea especially in developing countries like India, where inland infrastructure is not efficient.
Shipment of cargo by trucks, directly from the shipper's place to the destination, is known as a door to door shipment and more formally as multimodal transport. Trucks and trains make deliveries to sea and air ports where cargo is moved in bulk.
Shipping, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters, to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise. It is considered a general term for fans' emotional involvement with the ongoing development of a relationship in a work of fiction. Shipping often takes the form of creative works, including fanfiction and fan art, most often published on the internet.
A ship that has been confirmed by its series and is true is called a canon ship. It is highly unlikely that the ship will sink, because it has already been acknowledged to be true. Canon is indeed a word as used in this context according to the Merriam-Webster 2014 school dictionary.
