New Brunswick (French:Nouveau-Brunswick; pronounced:[nu.vo.bʁœn.swik], Quebec French pronunciation: [nu.vo.bʁɔn.zwɪk]) is one of Canada's three Maritime provinces and is the only constitutionallybilingual (English–French) province. It was created as a result of the partitioning of the British Colony of Nova Scotia in 1784. Fredericton is the capital, Moncton is the largest metropolitan (CMA) area and Saint John is the most populous city. In the 2011 nationwide census, Statistics Canada estimated the provincial population to have been 751,171. The majority of the population is English-speaking, but there is also a large Francophone minority (33%), chiefly of Acadian origin. The flag features a ship superimposed on a yellow background with a yellow lion above it.
Etymology
The province is named for the city of Braunschweig, known in English as Brunswick, located in modern-day Lower Saxony in northern Germany (and also the former duchy of the same name). The then-colony was named in 1784 to honour the reigning British monarch, George III. Braunschweig is the ancestral home of the British monarch George I and his successors (the House of Hanover).
Loch Lomond is a freshwater loch lying on the Highland Boundary Fault, often considered the boundary between the lowlands of Central Scotland and the Highlands. It is 24 miles (39km) long and between 0.75 miles (1.21km) and 5 miles (8.0km) wide. It has an average depth of about 121 feet (37m), and a maximum depth of about 620 feet (190m). Its surface area is 27sqmi (70km2), and it has a volume of 2.6km3 (0.62cumi). Of all lochs and lakes in Great Britain, it is the largest by surface area, and the second largest (after Loch Ness) by water volume. Within the United Kingdom, it is surpassed only by Lough Neagh and Lower Lough Erne in Northern Ireland and regarding the British Isles as a whole there are also several larger loughs in the Republic of Ireland.
Loch Lomond is a reservoir in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Lompico, California in Santa Cruz County, California. It was created by building a dam across Newell Creek. The dam is an earthfill barricade, measuring 190ft (58m) by 750ft (230m). It was completed in the Fall of 1960; impounded water first ran over the spillway in March 1963. The reservoir is 175 acres (71ha). It is 3mi (4.8km) long, 0.25mi (0.40km) wide, approximately 150ft (46m) deep, with a 9,200acre·ft (11,300,000m3) capacity. It provides a portion of the drinking water supply for the city of Santa Cruz, California. Boating, fishing, picnicking and hiking take place at the reservoir. No swimming is allowed. The reservoir has a boat rental and snack shop and is open every day from March 1 to September 15, and weekends only from September 15 to October 17.
Loch Lomond is a 75-acre man-made lake in Mundelein, Illinois, as well as the subdivision built around it. The lake is administered by the Loch Lomond Property Owners Association, and access is restricted to members of the association and their guests.
There are two beaches open to the residents of Loch Lomond: North Beach & South Beach. South Beach is the larger of the two and the main swimming area, with a large pier, raft, and playground area. This beach also offers swimming lessons in the summer. North Beach is favored for fishing; while swimming is allowed, no lifeguards are on duty.
Loch Lomond forbids motorized water sports, but row boats, kayaks, peddle boats, and even small sailing boats are common.
Loch Lomond was formed in 1955, when the Arthur T. McIntosh Company constructed a dam across the southern branch of Bull Creek, to create a centerpiece for residential development. The 550-foot dam and 50-foot concrete spillway were originally planned to be a roadway connecting the north and south sections of our subdivision. The Owners Association maintains and operates the dam under a plan developed by professional engineers. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources regulates dams in Illinois; the dam is subject to their requirements including regular inspections.
Train service to New Brunswick was begun by the New Jersey Railroad, northbound in 1838 and southbound in 1839. Its successor, Pennsylvania Railroad, built the current station in 1903 when the tracks were raised above street level. Service was eventually taken over by Penn Central and then Amtrak and New Jersey Transit. In 2005, the Amtrak Clocker trains, a popular commuter service serving the station, were transferred to NJT. In October 2015 the southbound Amtrak Palmetto began stopping here.
The depot was designed in the Colonial Revival style and includes walls of light brown brick, hipped roof with gabled dormers and a deep cornice with dentil molding at its base. Brick quoins at the corners of the building convey an impression of strength and solidity. Windows display a popular Georgian Revival pattern of 9-over-1. Sills are incorporated into a stone belt course that wraps around the building, while lintels are embellished with prominent keystones.

By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes, Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond Where me and my true love were ever wont to gae, On the bonnie, bonnie banks o’ Loch Lomond. Chorus O ye’ll tak’ the high road and I’ll tak’ the low road, And I’ll be in Scotland afore ye. But me and my true love will never meet again, On the bonnie, bonnie banks o’ Loch Lomond. ‘Twas there that we parted in yon shady glen, On the steep, steep side o’ Ben Lomond. Where in deep purple hue, the hieland hills we view, And the moon comin’ out in the gloamin’. The wee birdies sing and the wild flowers spring, And in sunshine the waters are sleeping: But the broken heart, it kens nae second spring again,
