Eddie Vedder (born Edward Louis Severson; December 23, 1964) is an American musician, singer and songwriter best known as a member of the rock band Pearl Jam, with whom he performs lead vocals and is one of three guitarists. He is known for his powerful baritone vocals.
He is also involved in making music and contributes to albums by other artists. In 2007, Vedder released his first solo album as a soundtrack for the film Into the Wild (2007). His second album Ukulele Songs and a live DVD titled Water on the Road were 2011.
Early life
Vedder was born Edward Louis SeversonIII in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois, on December 23, 1964, to Karen Lee Vedder and Edward Louis Severson, Jr. His parents divorced in 1965, when Vedder was an infant. His mother soon remarried, to a man named Peter Mueller. Vedder was raised believing that Mueller was his biological father, and he went by the name Edward Mueller for a time. Vedder's ancestry includes German and Danish.
While living in Evanston, Vedder's family fostered seven younger children in a group home. In the mid-1970s, the family, including Vedder's three younger half-brothers, moved to San Diego County, California. It was at this point that Vedder, who had received a guitar from his mother on his twelfth birthday, began turning to music (as well as surfing) as a source of comfort. He particularly found solace in The Who's 1973 album, Quadrophenia. He said, "When I was around 15 or 16... I felt all alone... I was all alone—except for music." His mother and Mueller divorced when Vedder was in his late teens. His mother and brothers moved back to the Chicago area, but Vedder remained with his stepfather in California so he would not have to change high schools.
Little Hands is the seventh studio album (ninth overall) released by the singer/songwriterJonathan Edwards. It differs from his previous releases in being targetted at children.
Little Hands is an Australian film directed by Claire McCarthy.
The film stars Dinka Džubur and Miraj Grbić, and was an Official Selection in 2011 Pula Film Festival in Pula, Croatia and 2012 Flickerfest in Sydney, Australia. Little Hands (2011 Film) was awarded an Innovation in Film and Leadership Award from the Australian Embassy of Bosnia & Herzegovina and also screened to American audiences at the American Cinematheque to a positive reception.
Synopsis
Set in the war-torn medieval province of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Little Hands is the story of a young Australian tourist, Mia (Dinka Džubur), her journey to bridge the gap between her unwilling separation from her younger sister, Sofia and the trauma of her experiences during the Balkan war.
Utilising the backdrop and grace of the city Mostar, the story follows Mia's return home after an absence of ten years. Encouraged by news that her sister has returned from a former foster home, Mia finds her sister at an orphanage, withdrawn and incommunicative.

Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun (Music Video) HD
Music video for Eddie Vedder's "Hard Sun".
Lyrics:
When I walk beside her
I am a better man
When I look to leave her
I always stagger back again
Once I built an ivory tower
So I could worship from above
When I climb down to be set free
She took me in again
Theres a big
A big hard sun
Beating on the big people
In a big hard world
When she comes to greet me
She is mercy at my feet
And I, I see her inner charm
She just throws it back at me
Once I dug an early grave
To find a better land
She just smiled and laughed at me
And took her rules back again
Theres a big
A big hard sun
Beating on the big people
In a big hard world

I should have known there was someone else Down below I always kept it to myself Now I believe in nothing, not today As I move myself out of your sight I'll be sleeping by myself tonight I could never go to no one else The hurt don't show but who knows time will tell I believe in nothing but the pain And I can't see this turning out right I'll be sleeping by myself tonight Forever be sad and lonely Forever never be the same I close my eyes Wait for a sign Am I just waiting in vain? Oh, I believe in love and disaster Sometimes the two are just the same I'm beginning to see What's left of me Is gonna have to be free to survive I'll be sleeping by myself I'll be sleeping by myself
