Van Helden often remixes and uses samples of funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. He also uses filters and dub progressions, as in NYC beat, dancehall and reggae samples.
His greatest successes have been the remix of the song "Professional Widow" by Tori Amos, "My My My" featuring Tara McDonald (containing a sample of "Comin' Apart" by Gary Wright), as well as "U Don't Know Me" (containing a sample of "Dance With You" by Carrie Lucas), which is Van Helden's own work and topped the UK Singles Chart. He also featured in "Bonkers" by UK rapper Dizzee Rascal, which also topped the UK charts.
Let It Roll is the eighth studio album by the American rock band Little Feat, released in 1988. Eight of the ten songs on the album were co-written by new band member Craig Fuller, the founding member of Pure Prairie League. Fuller also dominates the lead vocals. The album attained RIAA certifiedgold status on February 14, 1989. It is the first Little Feat studio album without Lowell George, after his death in 1979 and is one of their most successful albums, sparking a comeback by the band. The first single, "Hate to Lose Your Lovin'", earned the band their first #1 hit on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
"Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)" is a song by English musician George Harrison, released on his 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass. Harrison wrote the song as a tribute to Frank Crisp, a nineteenth-century lawyer and the original owner of Friar Park – the Victorian Gothic residence in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, that Harrison purchased in early 1970. Commentators have described the song as a cinematic journey through the grand house and grounds of the estate.
The recording features backing from musicians such as Pete Drake, Billy Preston, Gary Wright, Klaus Voormann and Alan White. It was co-produced by Phil Spector, whose heavy use of reverb adds to the ethereal quality of the song. AllMusic critic Scott Janovitz describes "Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)" as offering "a glimpse of the true George Harrison – at once mystical, humorous, solitary, playful, and serious".
Crisp's eccentric homilies, which the former Beatle discovered inscribed inside the house and around the property, inspired subsequent compositions of Harrison's, including "Ding Dong, Ding Dong" and "The Answer's at the End". Together with the Friar Park-shot album cover for All Things Must Pass, "Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp" established an association between Harrison and his Henley estate that has continued since his death in November 2001. The composition gained further notability in 2009 when it provided the title for Harrison's posthumous compilation Let It Roll. My Morning Jacket lead singer Jim James and Dhani Harrison are among the artists who have covered the song.
Helden was an electronicnew wave project formed in the summer of 1980 by future successful film-musician Hans Zimmer and then Ultravox drummer Warren Cann. The project also featured guest participations of singers Zaine Griff and Linda Jardim. (now: Allan)
During 1979 and 1980, Zimmer and Cann were constantly working along as part of the backing band of New Zealand singer Zaine Griff, and were also doing TV presentations as part of the guest line-up of musicians with The Buggles. With Griff, the duo were touring in 1979, played with Griff at Reading '79 Festival and played for his debut album Ashes and Diamonds, released in 1980.
In the summer of 1980, Zimmer and Cann established a 'changing project' (not a band) while discussing the possibility of writing and recording an 'adventure' album.
In the next autumn, the project began to work, recording material. In March 1983, the forthcoming album was destined to be called Spies. The album consisted of 12 songs - recorded with synthesizers and computers. Some songs only instrumental (Mother Company, Pyramids Of The Reich, Moonlight In Vermont and Eva. The other songs all had vocals by (mostly) Zaine Griff and Linda Jardim (Allan), but also Hugo Vereker and French singer Ronny. Some songs are similar to Zaine Griff's songs on the album Figvres (where Hans Zimmer also did instrumental arrangements, keyboards and computers): Stranded, Borderline, Holding On. Other songs remind of the worldwide hit song "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles - where Zimmer also contributed: Young & Scientific, 2529 and Movies for Eva, while some songs sound more theatrical and dramatic: The Ball and My Killing Hand.
""Heroes"" is a song by English musician David Bowie, written by Bowie and Brian Eno. Produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti, it was recorded in July and August 1977, and released on 23 September 1977. A product of Bowie's "Berlin" period, the track was not a huge hit in the UK or US at the time, but has gone on to become one of Bowie's signature songs. In January 2016, following Bowie's death, the song reached a new peak of number 12 in the UK Singles Chart. ""Heroes"" has been cited as Bowie's second-most covered song after "Rebel Rebel".

Wanted to do this for fun. One of my favorite mixes in the game. Some Leaderboard said the High score was like 1,750,000 about. So I just did my best.
Sorry for any audio mis-likes on your end. Camera doesn't pick up crossfading (in the song) so well.

The night smells like December And we?re deep undercover Staking out what could be better than All the money in the world And I?m watching you and I?m waiting For the perfect time to start participating And you signal me to stay But I open my mouth anyway Now it?s over, we?re goners, it?s out of our control And if there?s one thing that I know it?s that It?s best to let it roll, so let?s just let it roll Let?s just let it roll Your hazel eyes paralyze my senses Cut me down to size defenseless, I?m defenseless And I know its late but I am waiting For the moment that I?ve been anticipating And I signal you to go Where it will take us I don?t know Now it?s over, we?re goners, it's out of our control And if there?s one thing that I know it?s that It's best to let it roll, so let?s just let it roll Let?s just let it roll Just don?t waste your night before it started Make sure I?m worth every single second, yeah Now it?s over, we?re goners, it's out of our control And if there?s one thing that I know it?s that It?s best to let it roll, so let?s just let it roll Let?s just let it roll And now it?s over, we?re goners, it's out of our control And if there?s one thing that I know it?s that It's best to let it roll, so let?s just let it roll Let?s just let it roll
