Jersey (/ˈdʒɜːrzi/, French:[ʒɛʁzɛ]; Jèrriais: Jèrri [ʒɛri]), officially the Bailiwick of Jersey (French:Bailliage de Jersey; Jèrriais: Bailliage dé Jèrri), is a Crown dependency of the United Kingdom, a possession of the Crown in right of Jersey, off the coast of Normandy, France. The bailiwick consists of the island of Jersey, along with surrounding uninhabited islands and rocks collectively named Les Dirouilles, Les Écréhous, Les Minquiers, Les Pierres de Lecq, and other reefs.
Jersey was part of the Duchy of Normandy, whose dukes went on to become kings of England from 1066. After Normandy was lost by the kings of England in the thirteenth century, and the ducal title surrendered to France, Jersey and the other Channel Islands remained attached to the English crown.
The island of Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands. Although the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey are often referred to collectively as the Channel Islands, the "Channel Islands" are not a constitutional or political unit. Jersey has a separate relationship to its Crown from the other Crown dependencies of Guernsey and the Isle of Man, although all three Crowns are held by the monarch of the United Kingdom. It is not part of the United Kingdom, and has an international identity separate from that of the UK, but the United Kingdom is constitutionally responsible for the defence of Jersey. The Commission have confirmed in a written reply to the European Parliament in 2003 that Jersey is within the Union as a European Territory for whose external relationships the United Kingdom is responsible. Jersey is not fully part of the European Union but has a special relationship with it, notably being treated as within the European Community for the purposes of free trade in goods.
Jersey is the debut solo extended play (EP) by American singer and actress Bella Thorne, released on November 17, 2014 by Hollywood Records. Thorne promoted the EP for a one time, in the event Shall We Dance on Ice, in Bloomington, Illinois, on December 16, 2014, when she performed "Jersey".
Background
“Everything is very different so it is hard to say I have some Coachella music, I have some R&B, some more Ke$ha talk-y music, I wanted there to be a song for everyone I don’t want it to just be you hear a song on the radio and say, ‘Oh that kinda sounds like Bella Thorne,’ like she would sing a song like that. I want it to be so versatile and different.”
In March 2013, Thorne announced she'd been signed to Hollywood Records, and began working on her debut album. On 23 April 2013, she discussed details about her upcoming album, telling MTV: “What fans can expect is [for it] just to be very different from anyone, because I don’t like to be one of those artists where you can be like: ‘Oh yeah, I know them from that song.’ All my songs are very different from each other. So I don’t want to be known as only one genre.” On 28 March 2014, Thorne announced her debut album would be named as the single, and confirmed it will consist of eleven songs.
The mixtape debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The artwork is a stock image that was purchased from Shutterstock.
Release and promotion
The mixtape was first teased by a range of sources including DJ SKEE, Angela Yee and Ernest Baker, and was officially announced on Drake's Instagram on September 19, 2015, when he revealed the mixtape's release date and cover art. Drake and Future premiered the album on Beats 1 on OVO Sound's "OVO Sound Radio" show on September 20, 2015, after which it was released on the iTunes Store and Apple Music.
Critical reception
What a Time to Be Alive received generally positive reviews from critics, receiving a normalized metascore of 70 out of 100 on the review aggregate website Metacritic based on 24 critics.Billboard described Drake and Future's chemistry as expected and said "Future deals with personal demons that he tries, and fails, to drown in drugs; Drake is mostly about insecurities and lesser gravity".Rolling Stone gave the album 3.5 out of 5 stars, attributing the "fresh and spontaneous" feel to the quick production of the album, where "both artists [are] playing off their louder-than-life personalities without overthinking the details." However, Sheldon Pearce in a Pitchfork Media review suggests that this limited time-frame for making the album is the sonic downfall of the mixtape arguing that the album "wasn't created with the care or the dutiful curation we've come to expect from both artists when solo."

Through working on various positional shots; identifying and overcoming problem shots, David learns how he can customize his own practice sessions for maximum results. Hi, I'm Cynthia Mann and we're here today at Birch Fabrics in Paso Robles, California. This is also the home of Fabricworm.com. Hi, I'm Melissa Lunden; I'm the resident seamstress here at Birch Fabrics. I teach sewing lessons here, prepare blog tutorials and sew samples of Birch's line of organic cotton. And I am here today to talk to you about sewing. So let's talk about jersey. Jersey is a little different than your regular quilting cotton because instead of being woven it's a knit. It's fabulous because it has a lot of stretch and a lot of movement. The best use of jersey is clothing; it's great, it has a lot of mobility, you can move and it stretches. It's great for kids clothing and you can use it for other different types of projects, who am I to tell you not to? To sew with jersey is a little trickier and you definitely want to take some time to practice. You can use your regular sewing machine with it but you will use a zigzag stitch instead of a straight stitch because a zigzag will stretch with the fabric. You can also use an Overlock machine and that makes working with jersey a breeze.

http://zerox-billiards.com - In this episode, '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' participant, David Styers, of North Carolina, learns how he's been focused on being a committed "student of the game, not a student of his own game." David aspires to compete at a higher level, even professionally.
Tor assists David in pinpointing his weaknesses through ball pocketing drills and pattern plan, encouraging him to "know his own game." Through working on various positional shots; identifying and overcoming problem shots, David learns how he can customize his own practice sessions for maximum results. As is common with many players, Tor identified that David was often choosing more difficult pattern run-outs than necessary.
In this full one hour episode, Tor and David begin with half-table pattern play, playing cue ball for position. Tor encourages David to "demand more out of his own game."
In Western New York, Tor is seen working with a very advanced player in Nick Brucato, who runs the Western New York Pool Tour. He determines that Nick, whom has won several high level pool tournaments, was programmed to use spin on far too many shots than necessary, when playing position. Additionally, Nick's center was actually determined to be just right of center. By correcting this, Nick became more precise in moving the cue ball around the table. He does great at getting a handle on his angles and speed control.
This episode is jam packed with great pool education! And that is precisely what '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' is about! Watch as Tor works with some participants on effective use of the tangent line, thinking out patterns multiple balls in advance, committed practice drills and the elimination of problem shots.
Watch Tor continue his training with New Jersey participants, Brandon Grablachoff and Tim Stewart! Tor encourages both of them to commit at least half of their practice time to working on identified problem areas in their games. By doing so, he's convinced they will no longer struggle when it comes to playing position. Watch them as they work on full-table
pattern play, beginning with 3 ball patterns and working their way to 9 ball patterns!
Stances are corrected to achieve more stability for some of these players. They work diligently on ball pocketing drills and playing for cue ball position. Fine tuning their fundamentals was an important aspect of their training.
Watch as Tor expands their ability to move the cue ball around the table and how he teaches one player to strike object balls as thinly as possible, even using obstacle balls to achieve identified goals.
Watch these players work on half-table pattern play, gaining a better understanding of how to move the cue ball around the table without the use of English and then slowly introduce English back into their games! In Tor's words, "practice your weaknesses until your weaknesses become your greatest strengths!"
Tor encourages these players to closely monitor their own games and understand, as is the case with all players, that "their weaknesses will always be a part of their game until they decide to do something about it!"
In Tor's words, "continue being, not just a student of pool, but a student of your own game!" In doing so, you'll be on your way to becoming the pool monster you want and deserve to be!

‘Jersey Shore’ has taught us so much over the years. While there are the obvious things (like GTL and the importance of a good pouf), there are also lesser-known things they taught us too, like who parted the Red Sea and what a millennial is. Here are some other important lessons from the crew.

http://zerox-billiards.com - In this episode, '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' participant, David Styers, of North Carolina, learns how he's been focused on being a committed "student of the game, not a student of his own game." David aspires to compete at a higher level, even professionally.
