A2Z is a 2006 USA-German action film by Daryush Shokof. The film is shot entirely in Berlin, Germany in 2004.
Plot
The old man (Jack Taylor) and his lolita (Narges Rashidi) are lovers. They have decided to end it all by a dramatic "shoot-out" finale this very day. As they know one of them will definitely die before the day is over, they decide to have a wild ride through the last day of their lives. They rob banks, fight the Nazis, do drugs, laugh and dance, kiss, feed the poor, and finally have sex for the last time before starting up the ritual to shoot each other to death. However, as each one holds the revolver against the other, neither one knows if the other's revolver is loaded, but the ritual has to go on.
Narges Rashidi won the Best Breakthrough actress award as the lead actress in the film at the New York International Film and Video Festival NYIIFVF in 2007.
Leeches are segmented worms that belong to the phylum Annelida and comprise the subclassHirudinea. Like the oligochaetes, such as earthworms, leeches share a clitellum and are hermaphrodites. Nevertheless, they differ from the oligochaetes in significant ways. For example, leeches do not have bristles and the external segmentation of their bodies does not correspond with the internal segmentation of their organs. Their bodies are much more solid as the spaces in their coelom are dense with connective tissues. They also have two suckers, one at each end.
The majority of leeches live in freshwater environments, while some species can be found in terrestrial and marine environments, as well. The best-known leeches, such as the medicinal leech, Hirudo medicinalis, are hematophagous, feeding on vertebrate blood and invertebrate hemolymph. Most leech species, however, are predatory, feeding primarily by swallowing other invertebrates.
Almost 700 species of leeches are currently recognized, of which some 100 are marine, 90 terrestrial and the remainder freshwater taxa.
In computing and specifically Internet, a leech is one who benefits, usually deliberately, from others' information or effort but does not offer anything in return, or makes only token offerings in an attempt to avoid being called a leech. In economics, this type of behavior is called "free riding" and is associated with the free rider problem.
Depending on context, leeching does not necessarily refer to illegal use of computer resources, but often instead to greedy use according to etiquette: to wit, using too much of what is freely given without contributing a reasonable amount back to the community that provides it.
The name derives from the leech, an animal that sucks blood and then tries to leave unnoticed. Other terms are used, such as "freeloader" and "sponge", but leech is the most common.
Examples
Wi-Fi leeches attach to open wireless networks without the owner's knowledge in order to access the Internet. One example of this is someone who connects to a café's free wireless service from his or her car in the parking lot in order to download large amounts of data. See Piggybacking (Internet access)

After inserting its jaws into the upper layer of your skin, the leech releases a protein liquid(Hirudin) from its saliva glands. This protein prevents blood clotting in your blood, and because of this, it becomes really easy for the leech to suck your blood using rhythmic movements of its body muscles and store it in its digestive tract. After consuming around 5-15ml of your blood, the leech leaves your skin. Now, this leech could survive for 6 to 9 months with this much blood.

If your have been under leeches attack it worth to check every inch of the body that was exposed to water infested with leeches. Leeches can easily get under the clothes or into the shoes. Leech normally stay attached for around 20 minutes to an hour and uptakes up to 15 ml of blood. After they done feeding they will fell out on their own. They have anaesthetic component in their saliva and anticoagulant hirudin, platelets aggregation inhibitors. That is why their bites is almost unnoticeable or slightly painful. Macrobdella decora or North America medical leech has 3 sharp saw like jaws and 100 sharp teeth leaving Y shaped mark after bite. Medical leeches are used for centuries to treat different diseases like thrombophlebitis, hypertension, varicose vein, skin inflammation and other condition. Medical leeches was a part of illegal wild animal trade in last century that bring their existing status of conservation in Europe to near- threatened species . Medical leeches prefer clean water, grassy, shallow lakes and can survive between feeding up to a year. They can loose up to 90% of their body weight and still survive. After feeding they can increase their body weight 10 times. FDA approved leech therapy as a good medical device in 2004.

This leech is cool. Haemopis septagon is a GIANT terrestrial leech that only eats earthworms. It's also found in pristine ecosystems, like old-growth hardwood bottomlands. So, it's probably an indicator of high-quality water and other ecosystem services humans care about!

Leech therapy sounds thoroughly medieval — however, it predates the medieval era by a substantial chunk of time. 🐛 🐌
Ancient Egyptians, Indians, Arabs, and Greeks all used leeches therapeutically.
Skin diseases, dental problems, nervous system issues, inflammation, and more were all given the leech treatment.
Leech therapy — which is also referred to as hirudotherapy — is still used today by many medical professionals. The leech enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in the 1970s and has been used with some successTrusted Source following finger reattachment procedures and surgeries on the soft tissues of the face. It is also sometimes used after microsurgeries, such as plastic or reconstructive surgeryTrusted Source.
Leeches help to improve blood flow to regions where it has slowed or stopped, thus preventing tissue death.
Would you give it a try? 😉🐌
