Chợ đêm quá chừng món ngon, đặc sản hấp dẫn ở Cố Đô Luang Prabang của Lào. Hơi tiếc chút là đặc sản dành cho khách du lịch là chủ yếu, nên cũng có nhiều quầy bán những món ăn quốc tế. Chỉ có một con hẻm bên cạnh là có nhiều món địa phương hơn cả. Khoai mê Sụm Lào, nước ép và quầy dồi trường hấp trong con hẻm này dữ lắm. Đợt này Khoai ăn hơi ít món, nên clip dài có 20 phút à, bà con cô bác mình thông cảm nha. Mong sẽ có một dịp quay lại để ăn được nhiều món ngon hơn.

In this video the Organic Hobos learn how to make Ao Lam by exploring the local's restaurant Indochine in Luang Pra Bong. Local, sustainably grown food is the pot of gold at the end of the Organic Hobo rainbow, and we were overjoyed to be rewarded at the end of our trip with such a find.

Or lam is a very traditional Lao stew from Luang Prabang. This is my take at showing you my Or lam recipe Lao beef stew. It is made with many signature Lao ingredients like mai sakhaan chili wood, padaek unfiltered fish sauce, Lao basil lemon basil, and dill! Most of these ingredients can be found at Southeast Asian markets. Unfortunately, the mai sakhaan is only found in Laos.

We Tried VEGAN Or Lam in Luang Prabang, Laos! 🇱🇦
This is one of the most iconic Lao dishes and one that is very much not vegan, but did that stop us from finding a plant-based version? You know it didn't!
We start our adventure at Kuang Si Falls, before heading to Bouang Vegetarian to try this national dish. It took the form of a soupy broth consisting of vast numbers of herbs and healthiness. Join us as we tried this healthy, restaurant-quality vegan version of Or Lam, inspired by the traditional recipe. AROMATIC MIXTURE
1 soft lemongrass inside
3 bird eye chilies
2 inch galangal
3 small shallots
STICKY RICE PASTE
⅓ cup dry sticky rice, rinse and soak
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
7 cups water
1.4 lb beef chuck
6oz cow skin
4 bird eye chili
15 pieces of 1 inch sa-kahn , peel off and discard rough outer skin and divide into smaller
1 stalk lemongrass, sear and then wash
2 cups wood ear mushroom
1 cup oyster mushroom
6 round eggplants
1 handful green onions
1 handful yam leaves
1 handful Lao basil leaves
1 handful of dill, chopped
1 pinch salt
2 tbsp padaek
2 tbsp Fish sauce
