Luton Town
Born in Luton, England, to Irish parents, Foley joined hometown club Luton Town at the age of nine, and progressed through the youth ranks until graduating to the first team. He finally broke into the first team squad in 2002–03, making his league debut on 19 April 2003, in a 2–2 draw with Bristol City. The following season he established himself as first choice right-back at the club and was named Luton's Young Player of the Season. He also won this award the following season. Foley won promotion with Luton to the Football League Championship in 2005, and spent two seasons at this level before the club dropped back into League One in 2007. Foley made a total of 151 appearances for Luton, scoring three times.
Kevin Foley (born March 10, 1988 in France) is a French drummer of Irish-Italian descent. He has played with bands including Decapitated, Sepultura, Sabaton (band), Abbath, Disavowed, Benighted and Mumakil.
He is a permanent member of Disavowed and Benighted. He has already recorded 3 albums with the French Death Metal band since he joined it in 2006.
Foley was first inducted into death metal (double bass and blast beat) by Benighted. although the young drummer had already proved his talent in many other bands.
In 2011, he played with the Swedish band Sabaton (band) for three shows when their drummer hurt his knee. Sabaton was on a common tour with the Heavy Metal band Nightmare (French band) and Kevin was their session drummer. He had only some hours to learn all the tracks.
Some months later on 25th, November 2011, he played drums with Nervecell (band from Dubai) at Abu Dabhi for the Metallica's opening.
Similarly two years later, Kevin was called upon by the famous Brazilian band Sepultura to stand in for their drummer after an injury he sustained during their European tour, with only hours to learn the setlist. He played for 8 shows with Sepultura. After the tour Sepultura published a press release to thank him for his help.
Foley was raised in Port Adelaide and educated at Royal Park High School. He left school at the age of 16 and began working for Cadbury-Schweppes. He later worked variously for the Australian Trade Commission, Boral Limited and steel distribution company Australian National Industries.
