Ken Clarke gets his revenge on Boris Johnson as the MP labels him 'disingenuous'
The Former Conservative MP called Boris ‘disingenuous’ and told him to stop playing games over Brexit.
The veteran MP had been sacked from the Tory Conservative party along with 20 of his colleagues after they sided with the opposition in an attempt to block a No Deal Brexit on October 31.
Mr Clarke wasted no time and told Boris exactly what he thought about him.

The final moments of the final episode of Civilisation by Kenneth Clark
This ending sequence of the 13th episode of Civilisation is profoundly moving: It is lovely to hear Kenneth Clark's views on various subjects such as culture, history and courtesy. It is moving to watch his wistful sign-off where you don't even realise he has said his last words. (And so entirely 'English' and understated to finish with the words "...not exactly joyful at the prospect")

Douglas Murray hits out at Mary Beard and the BBC over ‘Civilisation’ warning
Author Douglas Murray has hit out at Dame Mary Beard and the BBC for their warnings about Kenneth Clark’s iconic ‘Civilisation’ documentary series.
Originally broadcast in 1969, the series observes the rise of Western civilisation and drew a large audience when it first aired.
The BBC is broadcasting the series for the first time in over a decade, however, it has been given a warning note for reflecting the “standards and attitudes” of its time.
The BBC also released a video where Mary Beard critiqued the series, calling it a “European story” told by Mr Clark.
“As I pointed out in The Telegraph, such an un-insightful and such a banal accusation itself,” Mr Murry told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Of course, somebody from Britain or Europe is likely, first of all, to look at the worl...

Civilisation—in full, Civilisation: A Personal View by Kenneth Clark—is a 1969 British television documentary series written and presented by the art historian Kenneth Clark.
The thirteen programmes in the series outline the history of Western art, architecture and philosophy since the Dark Ages. The series was produced by the BBC and aired from February to May 1969 on BBC2. Then, and in later transmissions in Britain, the US and other countries it reached an unprecedented number of viewers for an art series. Clark's book of the same title, based on the series, was published in 1969. Its production standards were generally praised and set the pattern for subsequent television documentary series. The New Yorker magazine described it as revelatory for the general viewer.
1. The Skin of Our Teeth: In this first episode Clark—travelling from Byzantine Ravenna to the Celtic Hebrides, from the Norway of the Vikings to Charlemagne's chapel at Aachen—tells the story of the Dark Ages, the six centuries following the collapse of the Roman Empire, and “how European thought and art were saved by 'the skin of our teeth'”.

“Of course, somebody from Britain or Europe is likely, first of all, to look at the world through the eyes that they have.
“I mean it would be very strange if Kenneth Clarke had done a series called Civilisation which was centred on looking at Chinese culture through the eyes of a Korean.”
