Ken Wheat (born 1950) is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He is the writer of Pitch Black and the brother of screenwriter Jim Wheat, with whom he has collaborated on a number of projects.

With the return of the Nike Griffeys, the Swoosh is gearing up for additional releases in 2022, including this impending "Wheat," which will be available in adult sizes.
Late last year, we showed you the GS size, noting that this Wheat colour was released in 2016. In 2021, Ken Griffey Jr.'s Nike Air Griffey Max 1 received a 25th Anniversary makeover, with two original "Freshwater" mixes and several special editions honouring the late great Jackie Robinson. With the return of the Nike Griffeys, the Swoosh is gearing up for additional releases in 2022, including this impending "Wheat," which will be available in adult sizes.
Late last year, we showed you the GS size, noting that this Wheat colour was released in 2016. The 2022 edition, on the other hand, sports white writing and lockdown harnesses on the ankle straps, white embroidery on the Swoosh border, and a lighter shade of "wheat" on the logos and lace eyelets. The specified "Wheat" colouring predicts a Fall 2022 release, yet it combines wonderfully with the fresh dirt shown in the batters box for April.
