Song lyrics:
DON'T YOU KNOW
TALKIN' ABOUT A REVOLUTION
SOUNDS LIKE A WHISPER
DON'T YOU KNOW
TALKIN' ABOUT A REVOLUTION
IT SOUNDS LIKE A WHISPER
WHILE THEY'RE
STANDIN' IN THE WELFARE LINES
CRYIN' AT THE DOORSTEPS
OF THOSE ARMIES OF SALVATION
WASTIN' TIME
IN THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINES
SITTIN' AROUND
WAITIN' FOR A PROMOTION
DON'T YOU KNOW
TALKIN' ABOUT A REVOLUTION
SOUNDS LIKE A WHISPER
POOR PEOPLE GONNA RISE UP
AND GET THEIR SHARE
POOR PEOPLE GONNA RISE UP
AND TAKE WHAT'S THEIRS
DON'T YOU KNOW
YOU BETTER RUN, RUN
RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN
RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN
OH, I SAID
YOU BETTER RUN, RUN, RUN

My Thoughts On The Song/Chart:
So here's another experimental video i guess, this engine is frustratingly tough to get FCs on however i really want to document the covers that were shown in this game series as they are literally undocumented here on YT and possibly elsewhere. You may be asking why i would want to preserve a lot of these covers esp if most of them are awful...and most are, but like i said before, i want to document the covers included in this series and not be absolutely lazy about it and post a still image with the MP3 playing in the background. Good sounding cover, sounds almost identical to the Original version if not just a really good sounding remake of it.
Also i decided to include the weird cringy American Idol related judging at the end of this one because why the hell not. This particular song being from the first of the American Idol based games. (Which there are a few.)
Song Facts:
"Unwritten" is a song by English singer Natasha Bedingfield for her debut studio album of the same name. It was released in 2004 as the third single from the album. The song was written by Bedingfield, Danielle Brisebois, and Wayne Rodrigues and produced by Rodrigues and Brisebois. The single was released as the album's third UK single and second US single (in September 2005). In 2006, "Unwritten" became the theme song for the MTV reality television series The Hills. It reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first top-ten hit in the United States.
The song appears in the video games Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Thrillville: Off the Rails and as downloadable content for Rock Band 4, while the Johnny Vicious remix appears in Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova 2 alongside its original video. The song was used for the Pantene television and radio advertisements "Unwritten" has become a common song used to celebrate graduation due to its uplifting message about the future.

Anyways, this cover is pretty meh, not one of the worst covers in the world but the singer definitely has some trouble with some of Avril's accent.
Song Facts:
"Complicated" is the debut single of Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne from her debut studio album, Let Go (2002). It was released to radio as the lead single from the album on 11 March 2002, by Arista Records. Lavigne and production team The Matrix (Lauren Christy, Scott Spock, and Graham Edwards) are credited as writers, although the extent of Lavigne's contributions have been publicly disputed by both parties. Production on the song was helmed solely by The Matrix. According to Lavigne, the song is about being honest with oneself rather than "putting on a face."
The song received positive reviews from music critics, who praised the song as infectious pop rock. Some reviewers, however, felt that the song was inauthentic and that Lavigne was a poseur. The song peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, ultimately being certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song also spent a consecutive sixteen weeks at number one on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart, breaking a previous record held by Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn". Internationally, "Complicated" topped the charts in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and Norway, with the song peaking in the top five in over twenty countries. The song was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
NOTE: I do not own any of the music or video that is used in this video. I am not making a profit out of this and the content used belongs to their respectful owners and the artists

YOU SAY YOU WANT
A REVOLUTION
WELL, YOU KNOW
WE ALL WANNA
CHANGE THE WORLD
YOU TELL ME THAT
IT'S EVOLUTION
WELL, YOU KNOW
WE ALL WANNA
CHANGE THE WORLD
BUT WHEN YOU TALK
ABOUT DESTRUCTION
DON'T YOU KNOW THAT

IT'S GONNA BE
ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT
YOU SAY YOU GOT
A REAL SOLUTION
WELL, YOU KNOW
WE'D ALL LOVE
TO SEE THE PLAN
YOU ASK ME FOR
A CONTRIBUTION
WELL, YOU KNOW
WE'RE ALL DOING
WHAT WE CAN
BUT IF YOU WANT MONEY
FOR PEOPLE WITH
MINDS THAT HATE
ALL I CAN TELL YOU
IS BROTHER
YOU HAVE TO WAIT
DON'T YOU KNOW
IT'S GONNA BE
ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT
YOU SAY YOU'LL
CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION
WELL, YOU KNOW
WE ALL WANNA
CHANGE YOUR HEAD
YOU TELL ME IT'S

My Thoughts On The Song/Chart: Pretty standard cover, not really much to say about this one, it sounds different enough from the original and has that ol Wavegroup stank to it, but its charming in its own right.
Song Facts:
"How You Remind Me" is a song by Canadian rock band Nickelback. Written by lead singer Chad Kroeger and composed by the band, the track was released on July 17, 2001, as the lead single from their third studio album, Silver Side Up (2001). A "Gold Mix" was made for latter editions of the single with the heavier guitars edited out of the chorus. Kroeger referred to this song as the song that put Nickelback on the map when played at their concert in Sturgis, South Dakota.
Considered to be Nickelback's signature song, "How You Remind Me" reached the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 and was named the number-one most played song on US radio of the 2000s decade by Nielsen Soundscan, being spun over 1.2 million times on US airwaves since its release in 2001 to the end of 2009. The song was ranked fourth on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade and 75th on the UK decade-end chart. It was nominated for the Kerrang! Award for Best Single. "How You Remind Me" was also rated the number-one rock song and number-four alternative song of the decade of the 2000s by Billboard.
