Kanishka I (Sanskrit:कनिष्क; Bactrian:Κανηϸκι, Kaneshki; Middle Chinese: 迦腻色伽 (Ka-ni-sak-ka > New Chinese: Jianisejia)), or Kanishka the Great, was the emperor of the Kushan dynasty in the second century (c. AD 127–163). He is famous for his military, political, and spiritual achievements.
A descendant of Kushan empire founder Kujula Kadphises, Kanishka came to rule an empire in Bactria extending from Turfan in the Tarim Basin to Pataliputra on the Gangetic plain. The main capital of his empire was located at Puruṣapura in Gandhara, with two other major capitals at Kapisa and Mathura.
Earlier scholars believed that Kanishka ascended the throne in 78 CE, and that this date was used as the beginning of the Saka calendar era. However, this date is not now regarded as the historical date of Kanishka's accession. Kanishka is estimated to have accessed to the throne in AD 127 by Falk (2001).
Air India Flight 182 was an Air India flight operating on the Montreal, Canada–London, UK–Delhi, India route. On 23 June 1985, the Boeing 747-237B serving the flight (c/n 21473/330, registrationVT-EFO, "Emperor Kanishka") was destroyed by a bomb at an altitude of 31,000 feet (9,400m). It crashed into the Atlantic Ocean while in Irish airspace. It was the first bombing of a 747 jumbo jet. A total of 329 people were killed, including 268 Canadian citizens, 27 Britons, and 24 Indians. The majority of the victims were Canadian citizens of Indian ancestry. The incident was the largest mass murder in Canadian history. It was the deadliest terrorist attack involving an aeroplane until the September 11, 2001, attacks. It is also the deadliest aircraft bombing. The bombing of Air India 182 occurred at the same time as the Narita Airport bombing. Investigators believe that the two plots were linked, and that those responsible were aiming for a double bombing. However, the bomb at Narita exploded before it could be loaded onto the plane.

Canadian negligence, Khalistani terrorism- What led to Air India ‘Kanishka’ bombing
#Pastforward
Air India Flight 182 bombing was the deadliest act of aviation terrorism before 9/11. Orchestrated by Sikh extremists at the height of the Khalistan movement, it killed all 329 members onboard. And it came after months of Indo-Canadians saying the same thing: “Air India ki flight mat lo."

A man named Manjit Singh checked in as M. Singh called to confirm his reservations on Flight 182. The agent refused his request because his seat from Toronto to Bombay was not confirmed. He insisted, but the agent again refused him. The man said, "Wait, I'll get my brother for you." As he started to walk away, she agreed to accept the bag.
The agent checked his suitcase and transf...

𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝟭𝟴𝟮 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Montreal to Delhi with an intermediate stop in London. The flight was being operated by a Boeing 747-200 (Reg. VT-EFO) on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟯, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟱.
The plane took off from Montreal at 02:18 UTC. Its estimated time of arrival at London was 08:33 UTC. At 07:15 UTC, at FL310 over the Atlantic Ocean an explosion occurred in the forward cargo compartment, causing a rapid decompression. The aft portion of the plane separated from the forward portion before striking the water. The wreckage sank to a depth of 6,700 feet. From the wreckage retrieved no direct evidence was found of an explosive device. However, there is a considerable amount of circumstantial and other evidence that an explosive device caused the occurrence. Furthermore because an explosive device detonated in Tokyo the same day.
Just 55 minutes before Flight 182 crashed, a bag from CP Air Flight 003 exploded at Tokyo's Narita Airport, just 55 minutes before Flight 182 crashed. This was probably an interlined unaccompanied suitcase to be placed on Air India Flight 301 to Bangkok. Investigation determined that a suitcase was also interlined unaccompanied from Vancouver via CP Air Flight 060 to Toronto. In Toronto, there is nothing to suggest that the suitcase was not transferred to Terminal 2 and placed on board Air India Flight 181/182 in accordance with normal practice. The plane departed Toronto for Montreal and London with the suitcase unaccompanied.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
The Canadian Aviation Safety Board respectfully submits as follows:
Cause-Related Findings:
1. At 0714 GMT, 23 June 1985, and without warning, Air India Flight 182 was subjected to a sudden event at an altitude of 31,000 feet resulting in its crash into the sea and the death of all on board.
2. The forward and aft cargo compartments ruptured before water impact.
3. The section aft of the wings of the aircraft separated from the forward portion before water impact.
4. There is no evidence to indicate that structural failure of the aircraft was the lead event in this occurrence.
5. There is considerable circumstantial and other evidence to indicate that the initial event was an explosion occurring in the forward cargo compartment. This evidence is not conclusive. However, the evidence does not support any other conclusion.

Air India Flight 182 : Terror in the sky
It was early morning when a Boeing 747 was approaching the west coast of Ireland. While cruising at an altitude of 31,000 feet, the plane disappeared from the ATC radar screen. The plane suffered a sudden decompression. It disintegrated and slammed into the Atlantic Ocean killing everyone on board.
Investigation
22 June 1985
Vancouver International Airport
13:30 UTC
A man named Manjit Singh checked in as M. Singh called to confirm his reservations on Flight 182. The agent refused his request because his seat from Toronto to Bombay was not confirmed. He insisted, but the agent again refused him. The man said, "Wait, I'll get my brother for you." As he started to walk away, she agreed to accept the bag.
The agent checked his suitcase and transferred it to Air India Flight 181. CP Air Flight 60 departed for Toronto without Singh.
Flight 60 arrived in Toronto. Some of the passengers and baggage, including the suitcase of M.Singh, had checked in and transferred to Flight 182. When the suitcase of M. Singh was passing through the machine, the sniffer was heard to beep. It beeped in a low volume. The officers did not inform Air India because they were not instructed on how to react to such a short beep.
Investigators zeroed in on Inderjit Singh Reyat, Talwinder Singh Parmar, Ajaib Singh Bagri, and a man named Surjan Singh Gill. The search warrants were executed at the homes of suspects in November 1985. But the only charges laid were minor ones against Parmar and Reyat involving possession of explosives for the bomb tests. The charges against Parmar were later dropped, while Reyat received a $2,000 fine for possessing explosives.
How the plan was executed?
Parmar was the founder of Babbar Khalsa. It was a militant Sikh extremist group. The organization aimed to create the independent Republic of Khalistan in what is now India’s Punjab State. In 1981, India charged Parmar with murdering a policeman, which forced him to flee back to Canada. There, he visited Inderjit Singh Reyat, who was an auto mechanic and electrician living on Vancouver Island. Parmar asked Reyat to construct a bomb.
8 May 1985
Reyat bought a Micronta digital automobile clock from a store in Duncan. After a week, he returned to the store to buy an electrical relay to get the buzzer signal to power another device. During that time, Wiretappers recorded nine phone calls between Reyat and Parmar's residence. Due to this activity, the government added Reyat to the list of persons being monitored for terrorist activities. Later he visited a television repair shop, seeking help for a partially disassembled car clock wired to a lantern battery. The next day, he purchased a Sanyo component tuner and left his name and telephone number on the charge slip. He also bought smokeless gunpowder from a sporting goods store, signing "I. Reyat" on the explosives log.
June 4, 1985
CSIS agents followed Parmar, where he was watching a test explosion. The person who demonstrated the experimental device was Inderjit Singh Reyat.
Johal was suspected of involvement in several aspects of these bombings. The number of his former home was used while purchasing tickets for the two terrorists who carried out the attack. Johal was spotted at Vancouver International Airport by his fellow Sikhs whose families perished in the air disaster.
When the investigators studied the debris from Narita. They found the bomb had been housed inside a Sanyo tuner with a serial number matching a model sold only in British Columbia and used a Micronta clock as a timer, which powered a relay with a 12-volt battery to trigger blasting caps to set off a high explosive consistent with sticks of dynamite, all matching items purchased by Reyat.
Parmar returned to India and was killed in a gunfight with Punjab Police on 15 October 1992. He has later named the mastermind of the 1985 bombing.
On November 15, 2002, Johal died of natural causes at the age of 55.
Reyat moved his family to England in 1986. Later he was charged and extradited to Canada and convicted of manslaughter in the Narita bombing. He received a 10 year sentence. In June 2001 Reyat was charged with the Air India deaths and on Feb. 10, 2003, he pleaded guilty. He was released to a halfway house in 2016 and has now been fully released with some restrictions since early 2017.

These were just some of the words used to describe the scene of Disaster of Air India Flight 182.
A Boeing 747 with the lives of 329 people on board vanished from radar screens in the morning of June 23rd, 1985. The massive plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean around 120 miles off the coast of Ireland. There were no survivors. The Story of Air India Flight 182 involves a lot of moving parts, the loss of this plane was just part of a larger plot. This was an act of terrorism, a b0mbing, one that actually intended to kill a lot more people. In this video we’ll construct a timeline of this terrorist act. We’ll put the pieces together and find out just how the b0mb got on board, who the perpetrators were and see if we can establish a motive. This is Air India Flight 182.

Accident Description: https://www.instagram.com/p/CfJcyikPu7_/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
