Jonathan Darque was the chief executive officer of a mining company investigating new and cheap sources of energy. His investigations were opposed by environmental activists, who held demonstrations at his trial bore sites. His wife died in a car crash when attempting to evade the activists' blockade. Darque used his engineering skills to design a battle suit allowing him to become Magma. He then developed an underground crime organization.
Darque/Magma created a device he called the Long Range Sonic Stata Scanner (LRSSS), which enabled him to discover the epicentres of earthquakes before they erupted. He also used the machine to generate waves causing earthquakes; this enabled him to blackmail the Mayor of New York City. (At the publication time of this story, the historical Mayor was Ed Koch). Magma held a press conference to reveal his plans. Spider-Man and Iron Man joined forces to drill down vertically to reach the source of the earthquake, where they discovered his hidden base. After Magma was defeated by Spider-Man and Iron Man in a battle on the surface, he escaped in a pod into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Spider-Man aimed the LRSSS at this location and Magma was engulfed by the resultant waves and he disappeared into the depths of the ocean.
Gorath, released in Japan as Calamity Star Gorath(妖星ゴラス,Yōsei Gorasu), is a Japanesescience fictiontokusatsu film produced by Toho in 1962. The story for Gorath was by Jojiro Okami.
Plot
The year is 1980, and the film opens with the launch of the JX-1 Hayabusa spaceship into outer space. The ship, originally sent to collect data on Saturn, has its course diverted to investigate the mysterious star Gorath, reported as being 6000 times the size of the Earth. It is feared that the star's path could come dangerously close to Earth. The JX-1 reaches locates Gorath and it's much smaller than earth but with 6000 times the gravity. The JX-1 radio's back any data about the star but gets sucked into the star's gravitational field which drags the ship into Gorath, incinerating it.
Japan and the rest of the world are stunned by the discovery and, after some reluctance, send up the JX-2 Ootori spaceship for a voyage to investigate Gorath. The United Nations band together to discover a solution to the problem, and decide that their only solutions are to either destroy Gorath or move the planet out of the way.
Magma is a Frenchprogressive rock band founded in Paris in 1969 by classically trained drummer Christian Vander, who claimed as his inspiration a "vision of humanity's spiritual and ecological future" that profoundly disturbed him. In the course of their first album, the band tells the story of a group of people fleeing a doomed Earth to settle on the planet Kobaïa. Later, conflict arises when the Kobaïans—descendants of the original colonists—encounter other Earth refugees.
Vander invented a constructed language, Kobaïan, in which most lyrics are sung. In a 1977 interview with Vander and long-time Magma vocalist Klaus Blasquiz, Blasquiz said that Kobaïan is a "phonetic language made by elements of the Slavonic and Germanic languages to be able to express some things musically. The language has of course a content, but not word by word." Vander himself has said that, "When I wrote, the sounds [of Kobaïan] came naturally with it—I didn’t intellectualise the process by saying 'Ok, now I’m going to write some words in a particular language', it was really sounds that were coming at the same time as the music." Later albums tell different stories set in more ancient times; however, the Kobaïan language remains an integral part of the music.
Intro is an AmericanR&B trio from Brooklyn, New York City, New York. The trio consisted of members Jeff Sanders, Clinton "Buddy" Wike and lead singer/songwriter Kenny Greene. Intro released two albums (for Atlantic Records): 1993's Intro and their second album, 1995's New Life. The group had a string of US hits in the 1990s. The hits included the singles "Let Me Be The One", the Stevie Wonder cover "Ribbon in the Sky", "Funny How Time Flies" and their highest charting hit, "Come Inside".
Intro's Kenny Greene died from complications of AIDS in 2001. Intro recently emerged as a quintet consisting of Clinton "Buddy" Wike, Jeff Sanders, Ramon Adams and Eric Pruitt. Adams departed in 2014, with the group back down to its lineup as a trio. They are currently recording a new album to be released in 2015. The group released a new single in 2013 called "I Didn't Sleep With Her" and a new single "Lucky" in October 2014.
Ich Troje was founded in 1996 by songwriter Michał Wiśniewski and composer Jacek Łągwa.
Despite this, the group had five members when taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, with German rapper O-Jay (Olaf Jeglitza) as the fifth member.
Their music is castigated by critics, and Michal Wisniewski has said himself that he can't actually sing.
Nevertheless, since 2000, Ich Troje has been one of the most successful Polish groups. They have sold more than 1.5 million records since June 2001. For the past two years, Ich Troje have given over 300 concerts. Their songs are typically about love, betrayal and break-ups.
On 25 January 2003, Polish TV viewers chose Ich Troje to represent them in 2003 Eurovision Song Contest by televoting. They performed a song called Keine Grenzen-Żadnych granic, which was sung in three languages: (Polish, German, and Russian). The song finished seventh. A fully German version of the song was recorded as well.

MAGMA Greatest Group/Band of Our Time
A short clip of the French group Magma, jamming brilliantly on the final part of De Futura, from the EPOK 2 Mythes et Legendes DVD, offered by Seventh Records. Magma is a legendary group in Europe, currently celebrating their 40th anniversary. Shockingly, they have only a cult following in the USA, but those who like them are absolute fanatics. Magma is often heralded as the "Master" of Progressive Rock. Though, the Zeuhl which Magma sings is a unique strand of Prog Rock. Zeuhl is an alien symphony both Romantic and futuristic. Magma is a band which preforms with great dissonance and great mastery. There is a certain philosophy and story the band has formed over more than 50 years of performance. So how does Magma tell of the universe from the Pharaoh in Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré, to a ruined Earth in Kobaïa, to the universe's own end in the performance of Zëss?

A short clip of the French group Magma, jamming brilliantly on the final part of De Futura, from the EPOK 2 Mythes et Legendes DVD, offered by Seventh Records. Magma is a legendary group in Europe, currently celebrating their 40th anniversary. Shockingly, they have only a cult following in the USA, but those who like them are absolute fanatics. I describe Magma as follows: the energy of Otis Redding, the spirit of John Coltrane, the brooding depths of Bartok, and a melange of jazz fusion, hard rock, and classical chorale that creates a magic unique unto themselves. Listen to more of this group, and you will be amazed at the variety and spiritual depths of their music. De Futura Hiroshima is far from my favorite work (a little too dark, not all Magma is bleak!), but a good place to start for those who like to rock out.
Quite possibly the most perfect live music performance in the history of television, this version of 'Hhai' by Magma is absolutely phenomenal. It was recorded at the (late) Théâtre de l'Empire à Paris on 15th Oct 1978. The audio has been completely remastered by me and the finished results are insane!
Paris 1977 - De Futura (hq). The original clip seemed to be corrupted and most users weren't able to play it. So I downloaded and recoded it again. Original video was named "2l7PPpQn4bc"
"TO CREATE MUSIC WHICH DEFIES TIME, WE HAVE PLEDGED OUR MATERIAL AND IMMATERIAL BEING TO MAGMA, TO UNÏẀERÏA ZEKT, AND TO THE KREUHN KÖHRMAHN FOR THE REST..."

Emerging from the insular obscurity of 1960s French rock and roll, Magma stormed the music world as if invading from another planet. As bandleader Christian Vander testified, Magma was a concept inspired by another world: Kobaia. Kobaia, the Celestial Planet, the planet where the "Univeria Zekt" is promised. Magma sings as the bards of the "Zeuhl Wortz" or the genre "Zeuhl". Zeuhl is the "Celestial Music" of Magma's unsettling universe. It is a concussive universe of screams, zealotry, and command which form a surreal beauty. The surreal world of Earth, Kobaia, and Ork forms through Magma's music.
"And nothing – no, nothing! – will stop us!"

THHANKS FÜR ẀATCHIN
