Original Billboard review: "Quick and effective pop coverage of the country and western item could be the best thing that happened to Miss Valli on wax for some time. She sells this from note one for a well-projected ballad reading, albeit, at times, a little forced. This one could move out". Billboard rating: 80 out of 100.
