Jefferson Kaye (Martin Krimski) 1936-2012 WBZ, WKBW, WBFO, WBEN, NFL
Our sympathy to the family and friends and listeners of Jefferson Kaye (Martin Krimski) with this Christmas 2013 posting a year after his passing. Thanks to Ed Baron and Steve Mitchell for this 2008 or earlier efforts for the WBZ, WKBW, WBFO, WBEN-AM, NFL, and other listeners of the late Jefferson Kaye. As this historic audio may not be available at the old wkbwradio site, i am adding it here so it is not lost forever in my email files, Christmas 2013. Available elsewhere, his classic WKBW War of the Worlds radio drama was noteworthy in Buffalo NY radio history.

Subject: Kaye's Demo Tape
I have just received Jefferson Kaye's demo tape he produced while at WBZ (Boston). Apparently Kaye was testing the employment waters (1965)and his tape caught the ear of the general manager of WKBW Radio. Attached is an edited version of this 19 minute tape. The tape was converted to digital media by my friend and former KB personality, Steve Mitchell. This recording (along with several radio dramas) personal letters and a four page resume that accompanied the tape was donated by Ed Baron, a friend of Kaye's during his time at WKBW Radio. The audio and full resume will appear on the tribute web site to WKBW radio in the very near future. WKBWradio.com
This recording hasn't been heard for many, many years. We were not sure if any of the original recording lasted through the ravages of time... but it did and now we can all enjoy a little bit of history.
