Dash Berlin is a Dutch trance music project created in 2007 by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. The front man of the group is the DJ Jeffrey Sutorius, the 10th most popular DJ in the world according to DJ Mag in 2013. Sutorius initially started playing drums influenced by his late father who was a drummer in a jazz band, before discovering electronic music. He worked at BPM Dance and Mid-Town Records specializing in vinyl, with both stores becoming meeting places for many established Dutch DJ's. Molijn and Kalberg, who were deejaying as Pronti & Kalmani at the time, have credited Sutorius as a vital source of inspiration for some of their biggest records during that time.
Kalberg and Molijn have been contributing to the international dance scene for over ten years, with award-winning and platinum-selling hits for dance acts such as Alice Deejay, Vengaboys, Candee Jay, Pronti & Kalmani and Solid Sessions. Their track "Better Off Alone" was one of the first trance records that became big in the United States and was later sampled by French superstar DJ David Guetta in his song "Play Hard" and one of America's biggest rappers Wiz Khalifa in his breakthrough record "Say Yeah". They also have been working together with DJ Sander Kleinenberg on classic tracks like "This Is Miami" and "The Fruit" and remixes for major artists such as Justin Timberlake ('Rock Your Body' Remix winning the award for 'Best Remix' at the Dance Star USA Awards), Janet Jackson, BT, Usher, N.E.R.D., Lenny Kravitz, Junkie XL, Röyksopp, Mylo and Annie Lennox.
"Überlin" is a song by American alternative rock band R.E.M.. It was released as the second single from their fifteenth and final studio album Collapse into Now on January 25, 2011.
Berlin is a 2009 documentary series co-developed by the BBC and the Open University. Written and presented by Matt Frei, the series has three 60-minute episodes, each dealing with a different aspect of the history of Germany's capital city.
Episodes
Episode 1 – "Dangerous Ideas"
Using the life and posthumous legacy of Frederick the Great as its central theme, this episode covers some of the most notable political, social and cultural movements to emerge within Berlin over the past two centuries.
Episode 2 – "Ruined Visions"
From the advent of the former Berliner Stadtschloss to the Palast der Republik which for a time took its place, from the creation of the Bauakademie to that of the Olympic Stadium, and from the rise of the Fernsehturm to the rejuvenation of the Reichstag, this episode looks at the varied periods of construction, destruction and renewal seen in the architecture of the city of Berlin.
Episode 3 – "Ich bin ein Berliner"
Turning to look at the legacy which history has placed upon the people of Berlin – and that which Berliners themselves have offered in turn – this episode charts the tumultuous eras which the city has endured, for good or ill, through the course of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Flying Dutchman has had one wild ride of a year so far. Recent highlights include his completely sold out, solo show in Mexico City rocking a steaming crowd of thousands and off course his much applauded sets at ASOT 450 in Bratislava and at The Future Stage of Trance Energy in The Netherlands. With a firm position in the top 10 of most influential people in Trance in the We Follow Twitter chart and his steady climb to the current number 17 deejay of the world spot as voted by the members of The DJ List, things seem to be going faster then a red Ferrari for Mr. Berlin.
Aside from his epic DJ adventures, Dash has touched the quality Trance-seeking souls with his first compilation album United Destination 2010, which can easily be described a crystal clear reflection of a typical Dash Berlin DJ set. A sound well appreciated by the public and the press, considering Dashs collab with Australian singer Emma Hewitt, Waiting, won the International Dance Music Award for Best Hi-NRG/Euro Track in Miami.
Standstill is a word that cant be found in the Dash Berlin story, but the fifth single of his The New Daylight album does freshen up your memory. In collaboration with the original producers of Janeiro, Solid Sessions, Dash Berlin shook this unforgettable, sun-drenched classic to a 2010-fit treat for the ears.
And its a tasty package indeed. The Dash Berlin 4AM Mix gets your energy level up, no matter what place or time, its the experimental big room sound that matters here. Sans remix underlines the easygoing, feel-good character of Janeiro in a deep prog-housy remix. The Dutch duo of Signum give away the perfect example of Balearic trance, while Dutchman Sander van Dien of First State hands in his second Dash Berlin remix so far. After his massive remix for Waiting, Janeiro received another warm, prog-trancy treatment, capturing the soul of the track.
Undoubtedly youll be dancing to this classic again this summer.

You stole a kiss and stole my heart made me a fool right from the start It wouldn’t have been so bad except this little plan, it fell apart If I were you I’d dare not speak I’d run like hell In hopes of seein’ tomorrow It’s such a travesty the way you say our love should be yeah, such a tragedy think you can just break my heart and leave me well you better run Oh, man on the run playin’ for fun wind me up leave me undone It’s such a travesty the way you say our love should be yeah, such a tragedy think you can just break my heart and leave me well you better run Oh, man on the run playin’ for fun wind me up leave me undone If I were you I’d dare not speak I’d run like hell In hopes of seein’ tomorrow It’s such a travesty the way you say our love should be yeah, such a tragedy think you can just break my heart and leave me well you better run Oh, man on the run playin’ for fun wind me up
