The Thin One & the Fishhook: Webb’s Image of the Largest Galaxy Cluster in the Early Universe
In this episode, we explore the amazing image of El Gordo, the largest and hottest galaxy cluster ever seen at its distance or beyond, taken by the James Webb Space Telescope. We learn how El Gordo acts as a cosmic magnifying glass, revealing distant and dusty objects that were never seen before. We also discover how El Gordo challenges our understanding of cosmology and how Webb can help us test our theories and models. Join us as we uncover the secrets and mysteries of El Gordo, the cosmic monster and the fishhook.

Faraday Cage: History and Importance
Why did Faraday build his cage back in 1837? This deep dive goes from Benjamin Franklin to Coulomb in the 1700s to the development of radio waves and the Tesla coil. Then I go even further to how the Faraday cage helped JJ Thomson to discover the electron and how it is used to save us from microwaves, EMPs and electronic snooping.

The History of Early Animation
Animation is an art form using 2 or more drawings that, when played in sequence, create the illusion of movement. And as an animator myself, I care about it quite a bit and find it unfortunate how little most people know about this wonderful art medium’s humble beginnings. That’s why, in this video, we’re gonna look back at them in hopes to shed some light on the animation medium and its rich history. So grab a snack, maybe even a full meal considering this video’s length, and sit back as we do something people on the internet absolutely dread. Learn things.
