John Allan Jones (born January 14, 1938), known by his stage name Jack Jones, is an American actor and jazz and pop singer, popular during the 1960s.
Jones was primarily a straight-pop singer (even when he recorded contemporary material) whose ventures in the direction of jazz were mostly of the big band/swing variety. Jones has won two Grammy Awards.
Jack & Jones is a Danish retail chain with more than 800 clothing stores worldwide. The names of the original founders were 'Jaak' and 'Johnnie', however their marketing manager informed them they would have a better chance succeeding if they named their company 'Jack & Jones', to appeal to the English-speaking market.
The brand Jack & Jones was introduced by Bestseller in 1989, whose first brick and mortar store opened in the year 1991, in Norway. Their target market are males aged between the ages of 18 and 30, and their style is modern and relaxed casual wear. Jack & Jones' jeans have proven quite popular, most of which are designed at Bestseller's factory in Italy.

The company was founded in 1975 by Troels Holch Povlsen in Brande, Denmark. Originally its focus was on women's fashion. It introduced children's clothing in 1986 and menswear in 1988. Bestseller is family-owned and the company employs around 15,000 people.
