The flowering plants (angiosperms), also known as Angiospermae or Magnoliophyta, are the most diverse group of land plants, with about 350,000 species. Like gymnosperms, angiosperms are seed-producing plants; they are distinguished from gymnosperms by characteristics including flowers, endosperm within the seeds, and the production of fruits that contain the seeds. Etymologically, angiosperm means a plant that produces seeds within an enclosure, in other words, a fruiting plant. The term "angiosperm" comes from the Greek composite word (angeion-, "case" or "casing", and sperma, "seed") meaning "enclosed seeds", after the enclosed condition of the seeds.
The ancestors of flowering plants diverged from gymnosperms in the Triassic Period, during the range 245 to 202 million years ago (mya), and the first flowering plants are known from 160 mya. They diversified extensively during the Lower Cretaceous, became widespread by 120 mya, and replaced conifers as the dominant trees during 100 to 60 mya.
The Family (家, pinyin: Jiā, Wade-Giles: Chia) is an autobiographical novel by Chinese author Ba Jin, the pen-name of Li Feigan (1904-2005). The novel chronicles inter-generational conflict between old ways and progressive aspirations in an upper-class family in the city of Chengdu, a prosperous but provincial city in the fertile Sichuan basin in the early 1920s following the New Culture Movement. The novel was wildly popular among China's youth and established the author as a leading voice of his generation.
The novel was first serialized in 1931-2 and then released in a single volume in 1933. The original title was Turbulent Stream (激流 Jīliú), but changed after Ba Jin released it as a single volume.
Synopsis
The Family focuses on three brothers from the Gao family, Juexin, Juemin and Juehui, and their struggles with the oppressive autocracy of their feudalistic family. The idealistic, if rash Juehui, the youngest brother, is the main protagonist, and he is frequently contrasted with the weak eldest brother Juexin, who gives in to the demands from his grandfather and carries on living a life he does not want to live.
The Family is a public art work by artist Joseph Puccetti that depicts an abstract man, woman and child encircled by a ring. It was originally located in front of the West Allis City Hall in downtown West Allis, Wisconsin. In 2006, the sculpture was moved to the West Allis Public Library. The sculpture is made of stainless steel. The work was donated by the artist.
Family Π is a group of New Testament manuscripts. Belonging to the Byzantine text-type, it is one of the textual families of this group. The name of the family, "Π" (pronounced in English as "pie"), is drawn from the symbol used for the Codex Petropolitanus. One of the most distinct of the Byzantine sub-groups, it is very old and the third largest. The oldest Byzantine manuscripts belong to this family.
Hermann von Soden designated this group by the symbol "Ka". According to him, its text is not purely Byzantine.
Codices and manuscripts
Soden included the following in this group of codices: Cyprius (K), Petropolitanus (Π), 72, 114, 116, 178, 265, 389, 1008, 1009, 1079, 1154, 1200, 1219, 1346, and 1398. Lake added to this group of manuscripts: 489, 537, 652, 775, 796, 904, 1478, 1500, 1546, 1561, 1781, 1816. Soden also associated Codex Alexandrinus with this group. Wisse lists about 150 witnesses of the family, but the majority of them belong to this family only in some parts of their text. The Peshitta, in the Gospels, represents this family.
Family was a cult band from Spain in the 1990s. Although initially unsuccessful, Family gradually acquired a fanbase and is now highly recognised in the Spanish underground pop scene. Their only album, Un Soplo en el Corazón has been praised for its poetic lyrics, inspired music and elegant artwork.
A family of musical instruments is a grouping of several different but related sizes or types of instruments. Some schemes of musical instrument classification, such as the Hornbostel-Sachs system, are based on a hierarchy of instrument families and families of families.
Family relationships are not always clear-cut. For example, some authorities regard families as encompassing only instruments of different pitch range that have similar construction and tone quality. They therefore, for example, do not regard the cor anglais as a member of the oboe family, because its narrow bore and piriform bell give it a distinctly different tone quality from the oboe.

Angiosperms: Flowering Plants
We just learned about gymnosperms, and the incredible evolutionary advantages they had over their ancestors. But the next leap forward for plants was even more impressive. Angiosperms are flowering plants, so any plant with flowers or fruits is an angiosperm. And instead of fertilizing by wind, angiosperms enlist the help of animals to execute highly targeted fertilization for them, affording them even more reproductive success, which is why angiosperms quickly covered the world. Let's learn more about angiosperm variety, reproduction, and other details.

This channel and its content are intended for adults over the age of 21. I do not condone any illegal activities, and this video was filmed for documentary purposes only.
In this episode I’ll take you along the entire flowering stage for my 6 plant Sherbet Cookies grow. This will be a complete veg to flower transformation starting from day one in flower, and ending at day 73. Not only will I show the before and after results from one of the heaviest day 21 leaf strips I’ve ever done, but I’ll also cover the basics to flower room environment, nutrient requirements, light intensity, and much more. There will be a lot of info unpacked in this episode, so make yourself comfy, sit back and enjoy the video.

Disussion of Flowering Plant Reproduction, with details on the parts of the flower, pollen development, egg development, pollination, double fertilization, seed development and fruit development
