Invisibility is the state of an object that cannot be seen. An object in this state is said to be invisible (literally, "not visible"). The term is often used in fantasy/science fiction, where objects cannot be seen by magical or technological means; however, its effects can also be demonstrated in the real world, particularly in physics and perceptual psychology classes.
Since objects can be seen by light in the visible spectrum from a source reflecting off their surfaces and hitting the viewer's eye, the most natural form of invisibility (whether real or fictional) is an object that neither reflects nor absorbs light (that is, it allows light to pass through it). This is known as
transparency, and is seen in many naturally occurring materials (although no naturally occurring material is 100% transparent).
Invisibility perception depends on several optical and visual factors. For example, invisibility depends on the eyes of the observer and/or the instruments used. Thus an object can be classified as "invisible to" a person, animal, instrument, etc. In research on sensorial perception it has been shown that invisibility is perceived in cycles.
"Invisible" is a song by English electronic music group Tilt, which reached the UK top 20 charts when released in 1999. The song was co-written by Dominique Atkins, from Grace fame, who also provided the vocals.
Sound of White Noise is the sixth studio album by American thrash metal band Anthrax, released in May 1993 on Elektra Records. It is the band's first album to feature vocalist John Bush, who replaced longtime Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna in 1992. It is also Anthrax's last studio album with longtime lead guitarist Dan Spitz. This was also the second album Bush worked with Jerden, as Jerden produced Symbol of Salvation for Bush's previous band, Armored Saint.
Overview
The album, produced by the band and Dave Jerden, includes the singles "Only", "Room for One More", "Hy Pro Glo" and the Twin Peaks-inspired "Black Lodge". This album marked a significant revision in the band's sound, with the departure of lead vocalist Joey Belladonna and the introduction of grunge influences (Dave Jerden was the producer of Alice in Chains). Typical thrash metal elements such as speed and aggression, which characterized much of Anthrax's earlier work, are largely absent from their sound at this juncture in their career. The album debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 charts, Anthrax's highest ever chart position. Sound of White Noise was certified gold by the RIAA. "Only" and "Black Lodge" charted at No. 26 and No. 38 respectively on the BillboardHot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

'Invisibility cloak' that could hide tanks and troops looks closer to reality
Harry Potter’s ‘invisibility cloak’ appears closer to reality as Canadian camouflage manufacturer Hyperstealth Biotechnology has applied for patents on its ‘Quantum Stealth’ material.
The ‘inexpensive and paper-thin’ technology works by bending light around a target to either alter its position or make it vanish altogether, leaving only the background visible. It is touted to be able to obscure the positions of heavy artillery, ground troops or even entire buildings from certain viewpoints.

The voices that change are suddenly strange They're strangers that follow The ends of the light Is pulling over the eyes its secrets and codes The sun is too high in other people's lives They're strangers to sorrow Beware of the light that dares not expose The secrets of codes (Hey, out there) Invisible forces (Hey out there) Invisible forces Now, God makes it rain And God makes it snow Invisible forces Everyone's right, nobody's wrong Invisible forces I want to be the ghost who exposed Invisible forces Everyone's light, no one's alone Invisible forces (Hey, out there) Invisible forces (Hey, out there) Invisible forces (Hey, out there) Invisible forces (Hey, out there) Invisible forces
