The Indian Plate or India Plate is a major tectonic plate straddling the equator in the eastern hemisphere. Originally a part of the ancient continent of Gondwana, India broke away from the other fragments of Gondwana 100million years ago and began moving north. Once fused with the adjacent Australia to form a single Indo-Australian Plate, recent studies suggest that India and Australia have been separate plates for at least 3 million years and likely longer. The Indian plate includes most of South Asia—i.e. the Indian subcontinent—and a portion of the basin under the Indian Ocean, including parts of South China and Eastern Indonesia, and extending up to but not including Ladakh, Kohistan and Balochistan.
Plate movements
Until roughly 140million years ago, the Indian Plate formed part of the supercontinentGondwana together with modern Africa, Australia, Antarctica, and South America. Gondwana broke up as these continents drifted apart at different velocities, a process which led to the opening of the Indian Ocean.

Plate Tectonic Evolution of India: Scotese Animation
This animation shows the plate tectonic and paleogeographic evolution of India from 200 million years ago to the present-day. India was originally part of the supercontinent of Gondwana. About 200 million years ago, Pangea rifted apart. To the west of India, the western Indian Ocean opened. About 120 million years ago, India rifted away from Antarctica and Australia opening the southern Indian Ocean.

The Gators plated four runs in the third as the margin swelled to 9-0 ... The Indians sent eight batters to the plate in the first inning against Joiner (3 IP, 5 H, 2R, 2 ER, 4 K, 3BB, 1HBP) scoring twice and leaving the bases loaded.

Inspired by her admiration for SouthIndian culture, the cafe was more than just a place to eat—it was an experience. Here, every plate carried the essence of the region, from the fragrant dosas to the perfectly brewed filter coffee.

Advancements in HTOPlateTechnology... The Indian market for High Tibial Osteotomy (HTO) plates exhibits moderate concentration, with a few global leaders holding significant market share alongside strong competition from regional and local players.
The combined SouthIndian and Punjabi breakfast has customers piling their plates high with uttapam and egg roast from the bottomless buffet, while staff deliver freshly cooked dosa and pratha flatbreads.
