A papoose (from the Algonquianpapoos, meaning "child") is an American English loanword whose present meaning is "a Native American child" (regardless of tribe) or, even more generally, any child, usually used as a term of endearment, often in the context of the child's mother. The word came originally from the Narragansett tribe. In 1643, Roger Williams recorded the word in his A Key Into the Language of America, helping to popularize it.
Papoose carrier
Cradle boards and other child carriers used by Native Americans, known by many names. In the United States and the United Kingdom, the term papoose is used to refer to a child carrier.
SS Papoose was an oil tanker built in 1921 by the Southwestern Shipbuilding & Drydock Company in San Pedro, California as SS Silvanus for the Nederlandsch-Indische Tankstoomboot Maatschappij ("Dutch-Indies Steam Tanker Company"). In 1926 Silvanus collided with the tanker Thomas H. Wheeler in the Mississippi River, resulting in the death of 26 seamen. The Silvanus was declared a total loss and rebuilt in Beaumont, Texas.
It started operating as the Papoose for the Petroleum Navigation Company in Houston, Texas in March 1927. In March 1942, it was attacked by German U-boatU-124 off the coast of Cape Lookout, North Carolina. It drifted for several days and eventually sank in 200 feet (61m) of water off Oregon Inlet, North Carolina.
Shamele Mackie (born March 5, 1978), better known by his stage namePapoose/pæˈpuːs/, is an Americanrapper. After breaking into the rap game in 2005 with DJ Kayslay with the release of his song "Alphabetical Slaughter" he signed a $1.5 million contract with Jive Records. After his debut studio album, The Nacirema Dream was shelved, he cut ties with Jive. This resulted in him releasing over a dozen free mixtapes to keep himself popular. In 2012 he secured a deal with Fontana Distribution and released his debut album independently on March 26, 2013.
Biography
Papoose became known to the public when he appeared in 1998 on Kool G Rap's Roots of Evil album. The following year, he released his first single, "Thug Connection"/"Alphabetical Slaughter".
After an early record deal failed, he decided to produce and sell his own mixtapes, one of which he presented to DJ Kay Slay outside the offices of New York's Hot 97 after the latter's radio show there. This led to Kay Slay inviting Papoose onto the air, and, impressed by his rendition of "Alphabetical Slaughter", signing him to his Streetsweepers Entertainmentlabel. He continued to release mixtapes at a prolific rate – over a dozen between 2004 and 2006 – and won the Justo Mixtape Award for Best Underground Artist in 2005.
The Custard Factory is an independent shopping destination and creative and digital business workspace location in Digbeth Birmingham, England (grid referenceSP078864).
Located on the site of what was the Bird's Custard factory in the industrial district of Digbeth, it is now home to a thriving working community of creative & digital businesses, independent shops and cafes and bars. They include hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses and some larger ones like Asos. The project was set up by Bennie Gray in 1992 and substantially expanded by his son Lucan Gray, who owns and runs the project.
Development
The Custard Factory complex is set in fifteen acres (60,000m²) of factory buildings, originally constructed by Sir Alfred Frederick Bird (1849–1922), the son of Alfred Bird (1811–1878), the inventor of egg-free instant custard. The architectural firm commissioned to design the building was Hamblins. The architect may have been Augustus William Brenchley Macer-Wright who married Ellen Kate Hamblin, known as Jenny, who was the daughter of the man behind the Architect Firm's name. There is no positive evidence in Birmingham City Archive. At one time, a thousand people worked there.
Kitchen (キッチン)is a novel written by Japanese author Banana Yoshimoto (吉本ばなな)in 1988 and translated into English in 1993 by Megan Backus.
Although one may notice a certain Western influence in Yoshimoto's style, Kitchen is still critically recognized as an example of contemporary Japanese literature; The Independent, The Times and The New Yorker have all reviewed the novel favorably.
Most editions also include a novella entitled Moonlight Shadow, which is also a tragedy dealing with loss and love.
There have been two films made of the story, a Japanese TV movie in 1989 and a more widely released version produced in Hong Kong by Yim Ho in 1997.
Plot
In Kitchen, a young Japanese woman named Mikage Sakurai struggles to overcome the death of her grandmother. She gradually grows close to one of her grandmother's friends, Yuichi, from a flower shop and ends up staying with him and his transgender mother, Eriko.
From Mikage's love of kitchens to her job as a culinary teacher's assistant to the multiple scenes in which food is merely present, Kitchen is a short window into the life of a young Japanese woman and her discoveries about food and love amongst a background of tragedy.

Remy Ma Reveals Why She Cheated On Papoose
Remy Ma Reveals Why She Cheated On Papoose
Geechi Gotti decided to hang Remy Ma and Eazy out to dry in that rap battle, and I had never seen Remy look so soft in my life.
It’s like Geechi instantly made her feminine again, and I swear I could feel her blood pressure going through the roof from the screen.
Well, now we finally know why Papoose was not at that event. Koz apparently, finally realized that Remy Ma had been stepping out on him while he was out here being a loyal husband.
