Kelly Keagy (born September 15, 1952) is an American drummer and vocalist, best known for his work with Night Ranger. Keagy sang lead vocals on several of their hits, such as "Sister Christian", "Sing Me Away", and "Sentimental Street".
Biography
Early years
Keagy started out his career as a drummer, but over the years gained experience in many aspects of the music business. The day after Kelly graduated high school, he packed his bags and left home to pursue being a full-time drummer. After years of playing the club circuit, he became the drummer for the San Francisco band Rubicon. Along with fellow members Jack Blades and Brad Gillis, he formed the band Night Ranger in 1979 as Stereo.
Night Ranger
After cutting their teeth on local gigs in San Francisco, promoter Bill Graham booked Night Ranger as the opening act for such bands as Judas Priest, Santana, and the Doobie Brothers. They became one of the most popular mainstream hard rock bands of the mid-1980s. Night Ranger's first album, Dawn Patrol, released in 1982, reached No. 38 on the U.S. charts and sold over 1 million copies, yet it was 1983's Midnight Madness that established the band as a commercial force. Featuring the hits "(You Can Still) Rock in America" and "Sister Christian", the record peaked at No. 15 and sold over 2 million copies. The 1985 album Seven Wishes (7 Wishes) was even more successful, reaching No. 10 on the charts and selling over 3 million copies. In 1988, keyboardist Alan Fitzgerald left Night Ranger, shortly after the recording of Man in Motion. Then, in 1989, after the Man in Motion tour, front man Jack Blades left Night Ranger, with the group disbanding.

The English translation of I'm Alive, will launch to the Frankfurt Book Fair.I'm Alive has received numerous awards and has been reprinted many times in Iran. The idea for writing the novel came to Abad in 2012.
This book is one of the first published works about the Iranian women's roles during this period, which opened the way for the publication of similar works. According to critics, the book is the most effective memoir and successful narrative of the Iran–Iraq war. Ali Khamenei, Supreme leader of Iran, read the book and appreciated Abad for her efforts in Iran-Iraq war.

Ten Thousand Fists is the third studio album by American metal band Disturbed. It was released on September 20, 2005 and became Disturbed's second consecutive number 1 debut on the Billboard 200 in the United States, shipping around 239,000 copies in its opening week. It has been certified Platinum by the RIAA and was also the band's second number 1 release in New Zealand. It is also the first Disturbed album to not have the Parental Advisory label.
Ten Thousand Fists marks the first album with bassist John Moyer who replaced Steve Kmak following his dismissal in 2003. However, he was considered a session musician during the time of recording, and only became a full-time member during the tour supporting the album. It would be the band's third and final collaboration with mainstay producer Johnny K. He would later appear full-bodied in the music video for "Land of Confusion".
Ten Thousand Fists is, as of 2010, Disturbed's second highest selling album in the United States, with sales of around 1.9 million copies. The Sickness, the band's debut CD, has shifted sales of almost 4.2 million copies in the United States. The album was dedicated to Dimebag Darrell who was murdered the year before.
"I'm Alive" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Kenny Chesney. He wrote the song with Dean Dillon and Mark Tamburino, and it was first recorded by Willie Nelson on his album Moment of Forever, which Chesney also produced. Chesney himself later recorded it (as a duet with Dave Matthews) on his 2008 album Lucky Old Sun. This version later appeared on his 2009 Greatest Hits II album, from which it was released to radio in August 2009.
Song information
Willie Nelson first recorded the song on his 2008 album Moment of Forever, which Chesney co-produced. Chesney later recorded the song as a duet with Dave Matthews on Lucky Old Sun (also released in 2008), but did not release it as a single from that album. Chesney told Country Standard Time, "It was never meant to be some kind of a message — except to maybe myself[…]It's one thing when Willie Nelson at 70 sings it, and something totally different when Dave and I do. One is from a place of really knowing; for us, it was more just the fact that we realize it." He also said that he was inspired to write the song after his divorce from actress Renée Zellweger: "Writing that song was a release. It was the best I'd felt in a long time after I wrote that song."

Kelly Keagy - I'm Alive
The first song from Kelly Keagy's (drummer from Night Ranger) great second solo album "I'm Alive."
Lyrics:
It was just another year ruled by everything I fear
I close my spirit down to save my heart and soul
When suddenly from dark came light
In a flash of blinding light
Now the rage to live is all I really know
I refuse to let it die--no regrets no alibis
Every situation makes me what I am
Now I can taste, I can feel
Every breath of what is real
From the wreckage now I climb--and I'm alive
Now my story is my song
What doesn't kill me makes me strong
Got a lesson to survive--and I'm alive
Oh I'm alive
Standing in the line of fire--feel the shells of new desire
Daring life to throw me the hardest thing its got
It feels so strange to have no fear
Though the danger point is near

Bring it back to virgin ground
Dying's easy after all I've taken on
Now I can breathe, I can feel
