Hiraṇyagarbha (Sanskrit: हिरण्यगर्भः ; literally the 'golden womb' or 'golden egg', poetically rendered in translation as 'universal germ') is the source of the creation of the universe or the manifested cosmos in Hindu philosophy. It finds mention in one hymn of the Ṛgveda (RV 10.121), known as the Hiraṇyagarbha Sūkta, suggesting a single creator deity (verse 8: yo deveṣv ādhi devā eka āsīt, Griffith: "He is the God of gods, and none beside him."), identified in the hymn as Prajāpati. The concept of the "golden womb" is again mentioned in the Vishvakarman Sūkta (RV 10.82).
The Upanishad calls it the Soul of the Universe or Brahman, and elaborates that Hiraṇyagarbha floated around in emptiness and the darkness of the non-existence for about a year, and then broke into two halves which formed the Svarga and the Pṛthvi.
In classical Purāṇic Hinduism, Hiraṇyagarbha is a name of Brahmā, so called because he was born from a golden egg (Manu Smṛti 1.9), while the Mahābhārata calls it the Manifest.

Hiranyagarbha kya hai l

• The sun rises in the cosmic mind and goes back (sets) into this cosmic mind or Hiranyagarbha. All Pranas come from Him and go back to Him, and all the devatas are surrendered to Him.
• Every activity in the world is the amalgamation of Gyan Shakti, Iccha Shakti, and Kriya Shakti in a lesser or higher proportion.
• Some actions like talking about worldly issues, or showing anger, drains our energy, but good actions like doing puja, meditation, and satsang, energises us.
• Physical tiredness can be removed easily, but mental tiredness is the result of wrong thinking. Mental energy can come only by having higher thoughts.
• The more we are convinced about the glory of Hiranyagarbha, the more our prayers will gain intensity, and the more our faith will increase.
• This vritam of holding on to the Hiranyagarbha Prana so as not to lose their energy is followed by the Devatas even today, and will be followed by them in the future too.
• We should also do Prana and Apana kriya thinking that they are from the Hiranyagarbha so that the evil of death (tiredness) will not overtake us. And if one observes it, one should seek to finish it too.
• One who does this Vrat of associating with the Gyan Shakti, Ichha Shakti, and Kriya Shakti, attains the Hiranyagarbha, and has no opponents. If anyone opposes this person, he dries up and perishes.
